These are my favorite blankets. I have purchased 6 twins in various colors as gifts and of course, one for myself. They do lose some softness after washing/use, but they are still my go to! They are so soft, very warm, do not shed (a major thing I look for). The twin size is perfect as I use it as an oversized throw. I cannot recommend this blanket enough! You will be extremely happy with this blanket - as would anyone receiving one. The only downsides: it does attract things due to the fabric. But this issue is minimal. It also comes packaged in a tight plastic wrap that is cylinder shaped - so not the cutest presentation when gifting. This personally does not bother me, but thought I would mention it. I absolutely love this blanket as my warmest winter blanket. Even though it's lightweight to lift, it's like it radiates your heat back onto you. Super warm! When I get it out, my pets even come and get on it. I would've given this a 5 star, but, once you wash this blanket, it's pretty and soft fabric becomes not so pretty anymore. It's still soft after washing, just not as much as it was when new. When new, the fabric is standing upright, and is airy. After a wash and dry, not so much. Also, my dryer will not dry this all the way.. I have to hang it up to finish drying it. UPDATE: It's been almost a year since purchasing this blanket. (today is Jan 3, 2023) The blanket is holding up fabulously! There is nothing I can do to make it look new again, but, on the good side, you can wash and dry this a lot, and it won't look worse than it does after that first wash. ... show more

I wanted a blanket that is light weight, soft, and easy to wash and dry with no shrinkage or shedding of junk in the washing machine or dryer. This Woolrich Burlington Berber Blanket achieves all these goals 100%. The simple fold over sewn edge is excellent. New, this blanket did not have any annoying odor but I washed and dried it first anyway. Also, I am 6'3" tall and sleep on a California King bed. I bought this blanket as a "Queen" size on purpose and it measures 90 by 90 inches. I'm using it as a top cover over an electric blanket and one sheet. I am NOT a fan of gigantic over the edge to the floor blankets, sheets, etc, which are difficult to wash and frankly annoying to manage on a bed. This 90 by 90 blanket gives me shoulder yop to extended feet coverage, with only 6 inches of overlap on each side. PERFECT on my California King bed. Finally, I am a side sleeper and switch sides frequently at night. This Woolrich Burlington Berber Blanket does not slide around or shift on my bead at all, It stays put in place. I like that the blanket is soft, comfortable, and warm. The brown is a nice shade. The msrp of $90 is way too expensive. The regular price on sale is a great value. I haven't yet washed and dried it so I don't know how well the blanket holds up in those activities.
