These are awesome. For the price they work well very sturdy and max of solid wood. Works best with molds to make the perfect shape and tighten up short crust in molds. Very easy and simple to use. Made of wood so easy to clean but make sure to dry and not soak them. Able to do a lot of pecan tissues in a short time. I borrowed a similar tool from my neighbor last year for making holiday cookies. I loved how easy hers was to use so I bought this set for myself. These tools work just great and are so much easier to use than my fingers! My nails were constantly poking holes in those tiny little cups - this tool eliminates that. I noticed that some people complained about their dough sticking to the wooden tamper so I kept a small container of flour nearby and lightly floured this tool if things got a little sticky - problem solved. Good mix of sizes. I used to ramp down a cornmeal crust in a mini muffin pan. Came out with shells that had a uniform thickness with a lot Less effort.
