I bought these because my daughter never have bowls when I visit and she always asking me to make/bake something with one mixing bowl, the bowls along is great but all the other things that comes with it is awesome, when I ordered it I was only looking at the bowls so it was a super surprise to me when I opened the box and found all the extra stuff. <--UPDATE--> Bowls are still decent since My purchase. The Paint is slowly coming off. I knew it would happen due to I could see the paint job is thin. I got the bowls as open-box deal. I didn't really use the bowls much prior to My New Years Dinner. Perhaps if the bowl makers roughened the surface before the paint is applied and baked it in with Enamels. But that will raise the price, of course. ------------------------------------------------------- <--Initial Review--> 4 Stars for being a little too light although still sturdy for general kitchen use. This is a Christmas gift for my daughter. She asked for some mixing bowls and I found those with lids plus there were so many of them and so vibrantly colored… I think she’s gonna love them! I was under the impression these bowls had silicone bottoms so they wouldn't slide across the countertop/table while mixing in them, but apparently I was wrong.
