Will not work with a cordless drill. Electric drill still jams unless a very small (1/4 “) bite is taken. Even then, it takes several splits along a 14 inch piece of split firewood to gat a small piece of kindling. Save your money. No kind of time or effort saved.

This is a conical pyramid bit that has steel and dramatic steps the bit is designed to fit a hammer drill. It fits my hammer drill perfectly. I was honestly skeptical at first but this bit works by working its way into the wood and separating it with enough forxe to make the log split.
