The media could not be loaded. I am no expert when it comes to wood burning stoves or camp stoves... yet, I find this to be a fantastic little portable wood burning stove. I got it for emergency purposes as i'm in Florida and well, you know... hurricanes. I'm not much of a grill person and having the ability to be able to boil a kettle of water or heat up some rations of food is nice. To be able to fry up a pan of the food from the refrigerator and freezer before it goes bad when there is a long power outage is always handy. I figured this would be a great option for all of that... it gets real old, real quick eating only pre-packaged food. The photos and videos attached to my review are of me testing it out on my driveway after it came in, lol. My thoughts... the adjustable chimney is frustrating and annoying at best. I can see how that it better for camping or a go-bag / bug-out bag as it's more compact. I one the other hand, am buying a non-adjustable chimney that just has 3-4 pieces that fits into one another as it will live in my Hurricane kits. I'll keep this adjustable one if I need it for a go-bag / bug-out bag. I managed to slice my arm on the adjustable chimney dealing with it. It's a pain at best... I gave up and did what you see in the photos as I was just testing. Otherwise, the stove is great. I tested with dead branches from the trees in my yard and used dead leaves for kindling. I'll get more appropriate fire word and kindling moving foreward but i'll say this, it works beautiful knowing that all those dead branches and leaves work considering how many I have on hand all the time! Especially after a storm. Since this is stainless steel, it's nice and lightweight (as opposed to all of those iron or cast iron wood burning stoves). Which of course, being stainless steel... it won't be nice and shiny for long. Even after this test the stainless steel was already turning colors on the outside of the stove. That is okay though, as this is a utilitarian thing though. The stove is perfect for a hot tent and comes with the protector that goes at the end of the chimney to keep sparks and embers from catching the tent on fire. There is not a traditional spinning type flue for the chimney, it's a pull out style. On the door, there is a slide-able vent. Considering I was outside on a driveway, in Florida, on a fairly windy day... I was pretty impressed with how much heat this little stove put out. Of which, it comes with a pair of heat resistant gloves... which I found super handy... as the surface gets quite hot (and I didn't build a very big fire). Everything that the stove comes with fits into the carrying bag that is included. Which I find another very handy feature. It's not a feature rich bag, it all fits inside and it zips up. There are no pockets. Also included are a small wrench and alan wrench for any maintenance required. All in all, I'm super happy with this portable wood burning stove and find it to be Fantastic and glad to have it on hand (even though i'm no expert on wood burning stove or camp stove expert)!
