Amazing! We’ve seen these before as used in tiny homes, someone even had one on a boat, although it was large. You may have to make some adaptations via additional components if you plan on routing the pipe through the roof or wall of a building or tent.. as there are fittings available that stop the hot pipe from contacting the roofing materials or tent fabric. There are also additional components marketed for use with 2.36” stove pipe that operate as standoffs to support pipe as it rises vertically, parallel to a wall.. small rain hats, etc.. Also, backing the wall area adjacent to pipe with tile or even cement backer board is a smart safety move. All things to consider when you choose this stove. Those aside, this is an amazing little stove. The listing measurements all add up perfectly. You can choose to use the legs or instead, place the stove on masonry block or brick. The hinged components all work smoothly, the top/side mounted wire racks are brilliantly designed and well made, They leave us, for example, a perfect place to rest out tiny kettle and enamel mugs. As this is a small stove, the inside is (slightly) smaller than the outside, that means you will need “little wood.” SIre, you can burn small sticks.. but the density of the wood is what will give you a longer burn. THe lighter weight and softer the wood, the faster it will burn.. good to know there are companies that sell small oak, for tiny stoves, which is optimal!! It’s important to remember to avoid burning pine ( sap can build up in the pipe and later catch fire) as well as plywood ( glue) and anything containing plastics, painted and varnished included. It’s not lightweight, if you’re going ping to hike in. This is an astonishing little stove at this price point and we are extremely happy to have found it. As we use it more, we will be adding to and editing this listing.

If I could give a stove 10 stars I would. This bad boy is awesome! Came with the smoke stack inside of it, as well as a storage/carrying case that it easily breaks down for storing. The top piece has rings so I can tie it down while I’m using it, and holding it in place in a tent if I’m using it in one. The little clear window on the side is a nice feature, so I can watch the fire without having to open the door. It’s got a built-in ash tray that slides in and out for quick ash disposal. There’s a place for an “eye” so I can use it as a cook top, and it’s easily removed as another access point to the fire if I need to add wood. It has 2 fold out racks on both sides. Also, it came with a little mini fire poker, I love this thing. It has fold out legs that allow it to sit up off the ground. I didn’t know anything was missing on my outdoor adventures. It’s perfect for camping, or hiking, or any other outdoor activity where you’re gonna need a meal to sustain you through the end. It’s a quality built stove that looks like it’s gonna last me a long time. I’m very happy with it.
