This appears to be a good paddle, haven't had in the water yet. It's lightweight, adjustable to length and angle. Only complaint is the middle section appears to be fiberglass and not made of same material as the rest of the paddle. So not sure how it'll hold up, time will tell.

    • really nice paddle with an odd finish to the stroke
i really like this paddle, i like its options for feathering and length, i like its durability and weight, but i feel like the shape of the blade makes it harder for you to pull out the paddle early if you had to finish a stroke sooner. like if you had to make a quick adjustment. it seems like the blade shape makes you want to fully stroke all the way out to the surface of the water before the next stroke on the opposite side. not that its impossible, it just doesn't feel right to pull it up until its all the way through. ... show more

Came exactly as expected, appear very sturdy and lightweight, (Significantly lighter than aluminum equivalent) the extension piece to add the additional length is well designed to add sturdiness. The extensions holes are where you place your hands as mentioned in one other post, but I am not sure how you could get around that and also get the added 240cm length.     • Looks and feels good minus drip rings
I really dig the latch in the middle and hate the push buttons on my bigger blue one thats for me. (This is my girls on an 8 ft yak) The drip rings are flimsy garbage with no cupping/bowl shape. Luckily i have extra good drip rings. I have the bigger blue one it has good rings and has the outter carbon look that this smaller one is missing. This one gets to almost 230cm at 225cm so I already ordered another and am returning the bigger one that gets to a ridiclous 250cm. All that extra length is extra weight and my hands are touching the push buttons on the bigger one which is annoying. ... show more

Excellent paddle designed to withstand water and weather. Very smooth in the water and stores well. We keep ours out if the weather but it would likely hold up well if it had to be outside for a while. Very sturdy and well made.

Within a few minutes of kayaking the fiberglass shaft cracked, and then broke completely. Initially, I was terribly disappointed in this purchase, but the seller gave me a full refund. I was pleased with their response to my feedback and the way that they stood by their product.

For the wife. She likes the adjustable length, The size of the paddle is also another plus. She likes them because they are lightweight and good for the river. I used them for a few minutes and I also thought they are good paddles. She recommends them and thats all that matters.
