    • Works well, good for repelling earwigs from my dahlias.
Light smell when applied and it smells like cedar. Easy application with a hose. I've seen no damage anywhere I've applied it, flower pots, next to the house, all my plants tolerated it without damage. I applied it in the evening so everything could dry down before it was in direct sun. It likely helped with fleas but I used it primarily for keeping earwigs and beetles from eating my sunflowers, dahlias, roses, and all my summer vegetables. It didn't seem to affect the bees or other beneficial bugs in my garden. I applied weekly, just a quick soak of the areas i wanted to treat. This stuff is great. It smells incredible and works very well. The only downside is it doesn’t work for very long, so I feel like you have to spray every week which may be worth it because it’s that good.

    • Buy the Concentrate Instead
I love the product. I find it very effective for both mosquitoes and fleas. But hate the spray bottle!!! The first bottle that I got this year worked without issue. I fought for over 30 minutes with the 2nd bottle. Thought I had it working. Sprayed the whole back yard. But apparently it wasn't working. The level of fluid in the bottle didn't go down at all. Fought with the bottle some more. Broke the sprayer. Tried to open the bottle to pour it into the prior working spray bottle. Can't get it open, but spilled oil all over myself. Wasted 3 full hours. Giving up! My advice: Buy the concentrate and your own sprayer. In the end, it is probably more cost effective anyway. ... show more

For mosquitos this product definitely did the job! Within a day the population of passer-bys was almost non existent, by day 2 no one was getting bit. I purchased this again to tackle fleas. We have new neighbors with 4 dogs next door, and they brought a long fleas. This spray did not touch fleas at all. Still coming in on my pups (even with using their spray to spray directly on your pups), and got a few on our legs in the yard. Our grass is always cut short, no debris etc, so I thought this was going to be an easy fix. This product does work for ticks as well. Though keep in mind the square footage of your yard and the fact you have to treat it back to back when introducing wondercide to your yard. Bottom line...works for ticks and mosquitos when used properly. Does not work for fleas when used properly. ... show more

    • Good for temporary mosquito suppression
Here in Southern California we have a new species of mosquito called Aedes that invaded in 2015. They are very tiny, prefer to bite ankles and create really big itchy welts. They like to bite in the evening, just about the same time of day that you want to enjoy your garden. I bought Wondercide hoping this would keep them out of my back yard. It's easy to apply using a garden hose; no measuring or mixing. I liked the light cedar fragrance. I liked that it was safe for pets and wouldn't harm pollinators. It seemed to work well for about four days. But after that the mosquitos were back in force. it also seemed to stop working after the garden had been irrigated. I got two applications out of the bottle, so for the price, and for how long it lasts, I would recommend this for someone who wanted to treat their garden before an event. But I will use something else for ongoing mosquito control. ... show more
