Honestly, I don't think the advertising photos did this justice at all, & I'm certainly not a model, but it's not as shapeless as it appears in the photos. Anyway, I like the fit, & it fits me perfectly. I ordered this in medium from the size chart, which also happens to be my usual size, 10-12 on Land's End, just for the sake of comparison. I got this in "brown"- it's really a light goldish-brown that's a flattering color. I like that the other colors offered were also not so typical. I like the snap front, also the angled front pockets, & that the sleeves & body of the coat fit me very well. This offers lightweight warmth- it's not a heavy, "winter-only" type of coat, but one you can layer as you see fit, so it's very practical. It can easily slide over a sweater, & offers wind protection plus insulation. Stitching is as it should be. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because the fabric content information is not correct: this was supposedly a cotton-polyester blend, but the tag says it's 100% nylon, & by feel, I'd say "nylon" is correct. Either way, it's machine washable (gentle & hang to dry), but I'm a stickler for accuracy. This took so long to get here (almost a month from the time I ordered it) that I have to wonder if they ran out of the fabric they intended to use, & made a substitution. Anyway, I'm happy to have it & look forward to wearing it. I have one suggestion- the hood could use a way to cinch it- as it is loose fitting, it's not going to stay on if it's windy- it's really more for looks and to keep a surprise rain or snow shower at bay. I personally don't much care for hoods, but I accept that I'm in the minority on that, so for me the hood issue is not all that important- as I said, just a suggestion, since most people want coats with hoods. I'd personally prefer that it was detachable, & for me, it would remain detached.

This is a great jacket at the end of the day. It is ideal for spring and fall, but performs poorly in the winter, at least here in the Midwest where we had temperatures of -35 wind chill. In those temperatures, not only is it too thin, but the wind just pierces the skin of this jacket and the hoodie portion is very loose, so you can’t really secure it in place without it coming loose. Assuming you use it for fall and spring by, it is perfectly capable of handling a fair amount of wind and keeps you relatively warm in temperature as low as 40ish degrees. I got a medium, but found that it is very large on me. Even the photos of the model wearing it show the jacket as oversized, so keep that in mind because the manufacturer does not mention that it is oversized anywhere on the page. The zipper and buttons are all in the correct place with no defects. I’ve had my fair share of items gotten from unknown manufacturers and a fair amount had defects in construction, but I’m happy to say this isn’t one of them. The feel of the material isn’t the softest. It feels like an all-purpose jacket that is quite durable, probably nylon or some other synthetic material used in production. I got mine in brown and medium, and the color looks exactly as what is in the photo. The sizing is also like the photo— oversized. In that respect, it is an accurate representation. I wore this a lot recently but nobody has mentioned that they liked it or anything— but hey, all that matters is that you like it! And I do. So keep this in mind when ordering. All told, I think 4/5 is a good reflection of this item as a whole.

Alright, this jacket is pretty ugly, not going to lie. It looks like something I wore as a child in the 80s and that’s not a good thing. With that being said, it is surprisingly warm for being so lightweight. I do enjoy the fact that it’s not bulky and is easy to wash.

At first when I tried it on, I buttoned it up and thought it was to bulky and square. But, I noticed when I left it unbuttoned, it is cute. Funny, I just noticed the model in the picture also has it completely unbuttoned. This must be the flattering way to wear this jacket. So, if you don't mind square shaped, then that's great.. we're all shaped different..but,otherwise you should be okay with keeping the jacket open to show a waist. It is cute and I like the bright, snow white, and the length is great..ends at thighs. Buttons snap up easily, and look good.

I buy this jacket for cold weather and it work well. It keep me warm when temperature drop but not too heavy like other coat. The material feel soft and comfortable, not make noise when I move. Pros: Light weight but still warm Has hood for protect head and ear Many pockets for carry things Look good with jeans or legging Cons: Zipper sometime get stuck Sleeve a bit long for me Wish it has more color option Overall I happy with purchase. It good quality for price and I recommend to anyone looking for affordable winter jacket. Just be careful with zipper and maybe order one size down if you petite like me.
