I am 5'7 1/2" tall and weigh 185 lbs. I bought a size Large, and the fit was perfect! I bought this coat to replace a similar one of another brand. At least, it looked like the other brand until I received it. Then, I was overwhelmed at the difference in quality! This coat is extremely high-quality. The outer shell is very sturdy and waterproof. It's much thicker than that on the other coat that I had. The faux fur on the inside lining was thick and warm and much more tightly woven and velvety-feeling. The sleeves on this coat have an inner sleeve that hugs your wrist to prevent cold from getting in. The fur on the hood is also higher quality, and the hood fits better because it's not as big and floppy as the one on the other coat that I had. The zipper is larger and of high-quality. It also has two zipper tabs, so you can zip it either way that you would like. The weather was 14° yesterday, and I was toasty warm in this coat. I kept telling my husband how much I loved it! I absolutely LOVE this coat and you can't beat the price and it fit perfectly! I like that you can detach the fur trim and the hood separately from each other and from the coat itself. I'm a curvy, tall women with extra long arms (and legs) and to my surprise, it fit my body and arms (size 3X). I moved from DC/MD/VA (DMV) over 20 years ago to Florida, so I ditched my winter coat. Fast forward to the past couple of weeks, I waited until the last minute to order a coat. I had anxiety about buying a coat (since I was happy to get rid of mine when I moved to FL) so I procrastinated...just a little.😊 I ordered 2 different coats just to make sure I had one before heading north. This coat was delivered on time, as promised on 2/4/26, the other coat arrived on 2/9/26, my flight was on 2/5/26. I flew to DMV (unfortunately for a memorial service), and it had snowed, and it snowed with sleeting rain while I was there. The day I left (Saturday) we had bone chilling weather. The wind was so strong that without my coat, it felt like someone threw a bucket of ice all over me (I did a short run to the car without my coat but I won't do that again 🥶). Needless to say, I grab my coat and that made it tolerable. I was pleasantly surprised how well it fit and how warm it kept me! I have had this coat for about a month now. I live in the upper Midwest, and this weekend saw temps of -8 with a windchill of -29. This coat has kept me very warm. It's also a very pretty coat and comfortable. I have owned several name brand, expensive coats in my 58 years, and this one is every bit as good, maybe better. I ordered this coat to wear in very cold weather. PRO: Mostly waterproof, very warm, nice loose fit, attractive color, perfect mid-thigh length, double zipper CON: The "fur" collar on the hood is hideous! The colors look like you have a small animal tail, like a squirrel or racoon wrapped around your neck. Or peeping out when the hood is up. There are so many other possible "fur" colors that would have looked so much better with this coat. Thank goodness this part of the hood is removable. ... show more

I have always had a problem buying coats and dresses. I am 5 ft tall and 145 so I ordered the Large. I'm very happy that I took a chance on this one. The coat is perfect for me! The sleeves are just right and fitting at the wrist. And, the length of the coat fits like a 3/4 length, which is what I was hoping for.
