Scooter was easy to assemble and easy to take out. I love that it's foldable and lightweight (I can carry it with a single hand). I've been using it for about a week now, and I'm thoroughly impressed. With a 350W motor, it reaches speeds of 15-20 miles per hour. You can also swift to a slower mode (speeds of 5-10 miles per hour) so that it's safer and not too fast, and beginners can learn to turn slowly. So my son wanted a scooter for Christmas and we got him this one as his first electric scooter and it didn’t disappoint!!! Very easy to work has an app to control the scooter limits. Easy to put together it was only 6 screws and charged it up no problems at all and rode it a total of maby 4 minutes tops worked great not fast at all but it’s a cheaper scooter I didn’t expect it too then put it away and later that night about 10 hours later was gonna ride it again and turned it on and it wouldn’t work had an error code E3 tried fiddling with everything and tried recharging it and nothing tried time after time and still said it so I sent it back probably just a defect ... show more

Brakes are super sensitive. When you apply the brakes it's rough. They jerk hard at first and then get soft. Instruction manual says if they are too tight to loosen the brake cable. Doesn't work. The jerk isn't due to the cable bc after it jerks then you feel the disc brakes. I've gotten up to 25mph on completely flat smooth road. The slightest incline is hard to get up unless you have some speed doing into it. Once you loose 1 bar of battery your max speed drops by 10mph. The mobile app is trash. Impossible to sign up for an account so you have to skip. ... show more

Scooter is good quality so far. Most of the advanced settings are hidden, but if you want to unlock the higher speed mode on the L8, power it on, and when the display lights up, hold the brake so you see the E3 error. While holding the brake, press the accelerator all the way down and back 5 times. Makes it go 19 MPH instead of the gated 15 MPH. You will hear a double beep when done correctly. ... show more
