I live in a very up and coming, trendy, arts focused city, with a large number of international tourists. One of those little cities on the brink of becoming the next Austin or Nashville. I wore this twice downtown this weekend. My friends were dying laughing that it was like being with a celebrity because people kept stopping me to comment on it and ask me to pose for pictures with them! It is definitely a conversation piece, so be ready for that. It's obviously quite inspired by Mondrian, so be prepared for those questions too. I was a little leery because it is still super hot and humid here, and the fabric is very much not natural, but even walking at a brisk pace with the duster buttoned, I didn't drown in sweat on an 83 degree afternoon. This piece is going to be invaluable. I wore it with black HUE leggings, red lace ballet flats, a red wide patent leather belt, black t-shirt with a red patent purse and yellow, blue and red accessories. There are SO many ways to go with this. I just love it to pieces. While I might buy the green one, it does go completely against the ethos of Mondrian who hated green and never painted with it. But, eh? Art is subjective and I love orange and green together! If your comfortable being the center of attention? I can't recommend this duster enough! (Honestly can also be worn as a dress with some creative hacks as well). ... show more

I have loved this coat from afar for a very long time! Finally had ability to purchase. However, my skepticism was not unwarranted! The coat is really cute but the sizing is waaay off. This jacket fits me perfectly. If you are in between large and extra-large I'd suggest getting the size large. Also, I am a shorty, and this jacket is about two inches from my ankle, making it quite long. The material has more of a stretch than I expected too. Summing it all up. I really like this jacket and I am keeping it. In my opinion, it's worth the alterations to the length. So far it seems to be made well, and I really like the fit. Would purchase this item again. I really loved the pattern, does look like a Piet Mondraan painting. I'm not wild about the fabric. It's polyester and looks like it might get pulls in it.
