This jacket is great for layering on very mild chilly days. I think it looks great with jeans or leggings and a basic tee shirt. The first I noticed when it arrived, though, was how thin the material was. There is no lining, and the material is thinner than a denim jacket, so don't expect this to keep you very warm. It also is cropped higher than pictured, at least on my frame. I was expecting it to hit right above my hips like pictured, but it hit more at my natural waistline. I don't have an incredibly long torso; in fact, I'm actually a bit short in the torso. So just something to keep in mind if you are tall or have a longer torso.
