I bought these since I had some issues with grip strength and in general, wanted to avoid calluses on my hands from the nurl on my Olympic bar. I am lifting much more than my grip can keep up with and I ended up buying these to provide a little bit of extra grip so I can keep improving. As a woman that is 5' 11" these JUST fit in size Large but they are great! So easy to take off and put on. The velcro closes correctly and they are comfortable and non-restrictive (not more so than other workout gloves). Having an apple watch they sometimes bump into the button on the side while doing chest workouts (pushing the bar up). no impact on my tracking but it can be a little distracting. They protect my hands and provide support and grip. Using gloves like these in general help support increase of grip strength since they still require your hands to grip the weight and don't just take over the task. This makes it great to keep supporting your workouts without losing the option of gaining grip strength. The little tabs and loops help make it super easy to take off and put on and I like the bright colors and fabric. They also don't make my hand sweaty or uncomfortable. I even use them for training on my bike and they work great for that as well. Would recommend these to any woman lifting that needs a little bit of anti-slip for grip, wants to avoid calluses from the nurl, and doesn't want to spend too much. ... show more

I love the style of these gloves, but how functional are they? The fit around the fingers & palms was perfect but I had some trouble closing them around my wrists. Never fear, after a couple weeks of use they have stretched a little and they now close easily. They are super-comfortable and have just the right amount of padding and grip to allow me to go for the heavier weights. These gloves are quite perfect except for one thing. I do wish their was more padding/protection for the medial surface of the proximal thumb region. Their is protection at the distal region and along the base of the thumb but the gap in between those two surface should also have cushion and silicone on it. When doing an exercise that requires your wrist to stay in neutral position, this part of the thumb takes a beating. For example, when doing dips on a machine while keeping wrists in neutral position. All of the weight is in the webbing between the thumb and pointer fingers. in spite of the above issue, these are still my favorite pair of workout gloves. I purchased these gloves for weight lifting. I love the support and grip they offer. The only con is that the right glove pops open. I had used the size chart and picked the size using that, but the right glove is just a tad too tight...or my right hand is just a tad too big. I am a women in my mid 50s who joined a local cf gym about a year ago. Since the beginning I have been unable to grip or hold the pull up bars for any kind of pull up, knee raises, whatever. After seeing a couple other ladies with gloves, I decided to give gloves a try and ordered these based on other reviews and also the price. I used them for the first time today for pull ups and they worked very well for me. For the first time my hands since joining cf did not slip off the bars! We also did overhead press, the gloves were comfortable and prevented callouses! Very pleased with this purchase. I ordered xs and they are snug but I do not worry about them slipping around on my hands and they are super easy to get on and off with the pullers and tabs. I bought these in Dec 2016. Since I tend to misplace my gloves, I have cheap backups when I’m at the gym with a single glove on hand. These are by far my favorite and I just bought a replacement. At first the fit might seem snug but at the gym they are just what I need for pull ups, burpees or whatever hellish workout is posted at the HIIT class. I love the loops at the fingers to get the gloves on and off. These really made working with barbells for swings much easier. The Palm texture is appealing to me. ... show more

I got these for my mom as a gift and she’s absolutely obsessed with them. This was her first Christmas as a grandma which we call her Mimi so it made them extra special. The media could not be loaded. Overall, I'm pleased with these gloves. The grip is good, and they are comfortable to wear- even with my small hands. Occasionally, due to the small size of my hands (I ordered xs even though the measurement indicated that I was a little closer to a s), the area on the palm folds up. Today, for example, while doing pull-ups, it rippled and forced me to stop to readjust the glove. Overall, however, they work quite well and are comfortable.
