I just bought a new house and had a weird shaped window in my kitchen that gets direct sunlight year round. I was hesitant to buy a custom sized blind because I really thought I would mess up the sizing. I bit the bullet and was prepared to eat the cost of what I paid for the blind. I cannot comment on installation because I had a friend install but he didn't complain. The dang thing fit like a freaking glove.
