These Wolverine Raiders do run big so unless you're wearing thick socks go down a size. The one problem I have with these boots (and every other 6" boot I've tried) is that it hurts my ankle. I hope they'll soften up around the ankle but in the mean time I put a rag around my ankle (scrap T-Shirt). I had a pair of Timberland Pros that were killing my feet to the point I could hardly stand. After two weeks in these boots my feet don't hurt at all anymore. ... show more

Love this boot. This is my third pair in 10 years. Wear them 3+ days per week on jobsites and they last. First pair saved a couple of toes when a road plate slipped off a carrier and landed on my left toe. Cut the leather through, but the hard toe withstood the shock and my foot was fine.

Great brand that holds up. My first pair of Raiders. I got the composite toe for work. Got em at a good price. They comfortable as all get. Look great. They do fit kinda big, even after sizing down and with boot socks. Yet I'm still breaking em in and it's not enough to cause problems. So far so good, really only time will tell.
