When this boot first arrived my original impression looking at them was they were going to be too small. I'm not sure how to describe it to you, but they have a small look in my opinion, not that that's bad, but that was my first impression. I tried them on and they fit like a glove. They feel very comfortable, the materials and stitching looked very good, and that small look that I described makes them feel light yet durable on my feet, not heavy and clunky. That's definitely what I want in a boot, light, well made, comfortable. As I can't speak to the long term durability of this boot, my first impressions tell me I'm going to be happy. They came in a timely fashion, the price was right, so if they meet your needs, at this price point you can't go wrong.

I have to replace this boot on average about every year and a half to two years. This boot is durable and comfortable. I vouch for the steel toe too! I bought my first pair of this model Wolverine boot in 2017. They're awesome. When they got worn down and needed replaced, I went with what I knew to be a great boot. Also, they're not astronomically priced either. Good friggin' boot, man!

First off, these boots are my favorite daily wearers. They are inexpensive, super comfy (after adding third-party insoles), pretty durable and well made. One thing that is annoying and you need to watch out for is that if you slip them on with the laces tied too tight the fabric material that runs up the back of the ankle can get bunched up and form a weird knot that is impossible to smooth out again. It’s not a deal breaker but annoying nonetheless. I just bought another pair because they are on sale and I love the style enough that I’ll wear these out eventually and then have a back up pair. All the people bitching are expecting these to be of the same quality as $300+ boots which they obviously aren’t. You won’t be disappointed.

I found these on sale at Amazon and decided to try them. They look and feel great and have the design features I am looking for in a hiking/light-duty work boot. The best part is that they fit in my budget. I wanted boots that I could hike in and wear around the house when doing yard work and didn't want to spend a lot for them. Although I do not need steel toe boots, they can come in handy at times and I could not find the boots sans steel toes. The boots fit nicely and were comfortable around my foot with one exception. I have a wide foot and ordered the extra wide boots. While my feet did fit in the boots, the steel toes rubbed the outside of my big toes. Even with socks, I was worried that the rubbing would create blisters so I returned the boots and will continue looking for alternatives. If not for this single problem, I would be wearing them today. They were comfortable and looked great. Hopefully Wolverine will decide to make them without steel toes in the future.

A very well built work boot and I had high hopes. But, I bought the size that fits and the protective toe box was unforgiving. Everything fit right and felt good except all my toes in the toe of the boot. I tried them for two weeks with nothing but pain. I like the boot so much I gave it another shot an bought another set one half size bigger and again walking around the house for five minutes was nothing but pain. The second set will be returned. The protective toe box squeezes your big toe and fourth toe together in a rub that produces pain. I normally wear a one wide and the size and one half size bigger still was too tight on the toes.

I have worn these every day as a tow truck driver, for the last month. The break in was pretty quick and relatively painless at slightly more than a week. After that first week of my toe rubbing against the inside of the steel toe, it settled into a really comfortable shoe. The fit seems to be dead on for me and I am very impressed with the stiff backstay. It doesn't fold over when you slip your foot into it. After a month of wear they don't show any signs of fraying or failure nor do they show any signs of cracking or ungluing. I would give them five stars but man, do they make my feet sweat. I have worn insulated boots, and waterproof boots, and insulated waterproof boots, and nothing has made my feet sweat and stink like these things do. Pros: Good durability to price ratio Good fit Easy and short break in period Cons: Doesn't let your foot breathe.

Aweful, uncomfortable boots. Way over priced. I work construction. I have paid less for Walmart boots that are more comfortable. Needless to say…. Wolverine is a Walmart brand. Worst part is they are the 3rd pair of wolverines that I have tried with the “try before you buy” option. All 3 were way smaller then expected… and the Extra wide option made no difference. I’m 5’7… 165lbs sopping wet. These boots are trash. Just like the majority of clothes and products are getting on Amazon. Tons of options…. Little quality control or care.

it is now 2/18/23 I have had these boots over a year. They have been worn to work full time the past seven months and I just purchased a new pair of Wolverine's. I'm a tight ass with money, these were well worth it.
