- INTEGRATED PLATE FOR ARCA-STYLEThere is an integrated plate for Arca-Type on the cage bottom, and it allows you to mount quickly on a tripod for Arca standard.

Much needed for a grip. Fits very well, isn't too heavy (if you care), and provides a ton of mounting options. I mostly shoot handheld and I was looking for something to improve the a6400's small grip, and this helped out a ton. You can also get a different grip but the rubber works just fine and is durable. It also doesn't get in the way of any of the camera's functions and the simple key design helps to remove it quickly if you need to. Couldn't ask for more.

This Smallrig cage with hand grip for the Sony a6100 is a must have! There are plenty of mounts along the cage so you won’t have any issues setting up your camera rig. At first I was hesitant about the larger silicone grip but I would definitely recommend getting a cage with the grip. It makes the camera comfortably fit better in your hands especially since the Sony APSC camera are a bit small. It’s very easy to mount to your camera with the built in magnetic tool. The solid aluminum build will help protect your camera from random bumps. Absolutely worth it!

Bought this for my A6400. Even tho it does make the camera bigger and bulkier, and heavier, i do like having the extra options for attachments and a little added safety in case of drops. Looks good. Attaches fairly easily, tools are included in the cage. Feels like good quality. Worth it, especially if you want to do shoots and attach a light or something in a different location than what the camera has.

Ive had this cage on my a6400 since 2021 and ive never taken it off. One of my favorite features of this cage is the extended grip it adds and the number of things you can attach to the cage, the grip it makes it very comfortable to hold. The cage weights about half of what the camera weights is so its worth noting. Depending on your setup, the camera, cage, and lenses, mics, could weight about 2-3lbs so if you plan on using a gimbal, small tripod, desk/table mount, etc getting gear rated for the appropriate weight is something i've had to review before buying things I plan on using. Overall I would 100% recommend, only complaint is aperture dial is not as accessible due to the cage covering about 90% of it(circled it in red in the pictures) if it were designed a little different this would be 5 stars but you can still adjust the aperture youre just limited to the small surface area thats protruding to adjust it(might not be an issue for most) Other than that this is an amazing cage

Bought this for my Sonoy A6400 and sure im no profesional that does a lot of video BUT it does come in handy when you want to move the mic from the hot shoe mount to another location while not blocking the screen! plus the grip helps with holding the a6400.
