Grip built into a6400 is small and not comfortable for long use, but this solves that problem. My hands aren't huge (I am 5'8") but the original grip is not big enough for even average hands. This grip is great and allows for attachment of lots of accessories. I would definitely recommend for the low price. ... show more

An absolute must have if you ever worry about dropping your camera. This adds some size and weight to your camera that I believe is must needed. The all metal design gives you a more durable mounting system and lets you add more accessories. Worth every penny for any camera and any use case

Fits well on my a6000, Mounted up easy, just had to remove the strap rings. as someone with fairly large hands, this makes camera way more ergonomic to hold, and the additional mount points are very nice. it does interfere with the downward tilt of the rear screen a little bit, not sure if that issue is specific to the a6000 or not though. This Smallrig cage with hand grip for the Sony a6100 is a must have! There are plenty of mounts along the cage so you won’t have any issues setting up your camera rig. At first I was hesitant about the larger silicone grip but I would definitely recommend getting a cage with the grip. It makes the camera comfortably fit better in your hands especially since the Sony APSC camera are a bit small. It’s very easy to mount to your camera with the built in magnetic tool.
