This Wolverine microcut shredder is all it's description says it is. It is incredibly quiet, powerful, and fast. it's a silent beast. Well built, despite what some of the naysayers allege, and did I say quiet, it really is. I'm told there is very little needed maintenance, perhaps a lubricant sheet every 50 or so loads, I was advised. It is big and heavy, but rolls nicely on the casters. There was no assembly needed, ready to go out of the box. Another awesome feature is the wonderful customer support team, who reply promptly and really care that the customer is happy. I had what I felt was a very minor issue, but they treated it like it was the most important thing they were dealing with. Couldn't be happier in all respects. Highly recommend.

Been through quite a few over the years. My wife shreds all our junk mail etc. to put in our compost. Every two or three years they die, and we have to get another. This one seems like it will last a lifetime, really well made and quiet.

Our previous 8-year-old shredder died. So, started researching brands, types of shred, safety features, etc. Decided to order the Wolverine 15 sheet P5 (micro cut) shredder. It is so superior to our last shredder (staples professional shredder) it's really an amazing shredder and so quiet! It is pricey, but believe it'll make my life so much easier reducing our files, statements, irs info, etc. FYI: it can accept a large trash can bag (13 gal) in the bin - just tuck the front of the bag below the white closure clips.

Despite the plastic finish and the almost archaic basic buttons, and despite the fact that I received it non-functional due to a contact that came out of its slot and made the grinder unusable (see photos), surely due to transport because it is a little heavy, it's a good grinder compared to several others. It took less than an hour to shred the 16 inches of paper that had been piled up for several months, without overheating or faltering. It’s really a time saver so I’m happy, I was afraid for the quality but no, this price is a little expensive but it’s justified by these points.

Spent too long researching a replacement for Big Store 15 sheet shredder. This model delivered all its reviews said.about it. I estimated we would pay $80 for the QUIET and the funds are worth it. Busy office with phone - shred away and it no problem. I would buy one for the next office & boss when our current ones work no more.

When I set out to buy a shredder I was not planning to spend quite this much. But after reviewing many of the lower end models and seeing the difference between the P4 and the P5 level cut, I settled on this model. It's even better than I expected. It's quieter than expected, and the result is amazing. It's like pulp. I've not had it for very long so I cannot speak to the longevity, but I've shredded enough to fill the bin 2 or 3 times over, and have has absolutely no issues at all. Highly recommend.
