The helmet is DEFINITELY not DOT approved, but I already knew this because I understand that I get what I pay for…and at the cost of this helmet, I knew it wasn’t before I bought it. The upside is, it fits. I wear a 7 5/8ths hat and the XXL fits really well. I bought and aftermarket LA logo and stuck on there and got the look that I wanted. I live in a small town with light traffic and this helmet is definitely not a good idea for heavy traffic or highway road trips, because again, IT IS NOT DOT approved, despite what it says. It looks cool, but this is not a safe bet. Oh yeah, the shipping was really fast, the neck gator is “okay” but the glasses are mediocre. It runs on the smaller side. I do love the helmet and recommend it but order the next size up from what you measure your head. I'm keeping it for my daughter and I will order another 1 (1 size bigger) once I can save up for it.

Fits great, looks great, mask and glasses are cheap but hey for $50 for helmet and extras I'm not sure what any one is really expecting. Has DOT sticker. This was a great purchase! Got a pair of prescription sunglasses from Zenni.com to go with it. Love the air on my face and feeling free especially in this desert heat. The 2X fitted me perfectly my full face is a 2X as well so went with that.
