Description

The chin strap is made from polyester straps and is easily adjustable. The clasp is has a quick release pull function so that the helmet can be quickly removed from the head. The breathable liner of the helmet is removable and washable that can provide a comfortable riding experience. Visor toggle allows the user to easily retract or extend the black inner visor over the helmet face. Press down the botton under the inside of the chin guard. The motorcycle helmet is assembled with tinted sun visor ,clear visor and anti fog visor which is easy to remove and replace. Note: The tinted visor and anti fog visor are sold separately. With the buckles on the liners, you can easily remove the liners for maintenance purposes. Get another pair of Liners to make helmet fit better. If your helmet size is not right. Get another pair of Liners (S-XXL) to make helmet fit better or contact ILM. The helmet is damaged in transport/the wrong helmet. Please contact ILM with a picture of the issue.We will send parts to fix the helmet or exchange it. Any of the helmet accessories are missing/not working properly. Shout-out to ILM!!!!!!!! I was on the hunt for myself a helmet.... And found this one. I am so pleased with it. After what seemed like going threw dozens of options, ILM stood out to me and the price is fair, this style is awesome and I love it. If feels solidly made , while at the same time it isn't super heavy either, it's comfortable while wearing it , I have plenty of options with how I wanna wear it, I can have it up/open , down or closed, the drop down shades or visor with just a simple lever motion. It's an awesome all in 1 helmet that I'm sure will be great for summertime with all the airflow vents that I can easily control . And I believe I'm gonna be happy even when it gets cold with this helmet. The sound quality is awesome I can still hear the bike and my music without being wind whooped. This is a purchase that I'm glad I made, and you will be happy with it as well I'm sure, so stop wondering if this is the right one bc it is!!! ... show more

I didn't wanna spend $500 or more on a Shoei so I checked this out. I was taking my MSF and needed a helmet quick. This $100 helmet offers quality at cheap price. It snaps shut just fine or rides in the open position with no issues. Good sliding mechanics for the sun visor although I wish the visor came down a little more. Most helmets (even the more expensive ones offer the same level of sun visor) so I wasn't expecting much. The modular opening mechanics could be a little easier to open but it's not horrible. The mech pushes up instead of sort of pulling it forward like some other higher-quality helmets offer nowadays. The main visor is secure and stays up and in place. The helmet is pretty quiet with acceptable road noise when riding at 55 MPH. Quieter than some $300 helmets that I've tried (LS2 Valiant II). Padding is a good level. Has space for speakers and routing wires and I haven't had any issues so far. The neck curtain padding could be a little better to push tighter around the neck. I don't notice a lot of wind noise but it could definitely be improved and not have to cost a lot of $$$. I have the black/red/silver color scheme and I do not feel unsafe in the helmet at all. I would buy this helmet again. It's great for everyday street riding. <<<<UPDATE>>>> I was in an accident on 4/29/2025. 40MPH going around a curve. I got really messed up and spent a few days in the hospital and 4 months recovering. This helmet absolutely saved my life. Amazing purchase and well worth the very cheap cost. Just got this in, tried it on, made some adjustments. My first thoughts are that this is a pretty nice helmet. The quality seems to be pretty good. There were no missing stitches, the visors and the forward face lift nicely and stay in place. But when I removed the protective film from the clear visor, a small set of scratches were evident. These are hard to see in the picture, but are on the outside, so they could not have been made during shipment or when I was trying it on and getting the ridiculously long chin strap down to where the quick release buckle was properly set up. It could only have been from before the protective film was placed on it. It's only visible from inside the helmet with the light being at just the right angle, but it is nearly dead center and low, so could become a distraction while riding. Hence the one star being lost. The vents are easy to open and close. The quick release chin-strap is really nice. The padding is comfortable. Nothing smells funny. It looks great. The tint on the inner visor is nice and I can even wear glasses (sun or reader) with it down. Everything just works. I can even wear my bluetooth earbuds with this on. I'll give an update when I can get out for a ride with it and give details on wind noise, comfort, visibility, and anything else that comes to mind in the near future. OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE! I purchased a helmet and nd didn't realize it was too tight. I contacted the customer service team well after the return window and they went out of their way to ensure that I had everything I needed for a good secure fit! Responses were prompt and thorough even providing tracking info for my replacement pads. I'm extremely grateful for the care and attention I experienced purchasing from ILM! Thank you ILM Customer Service Team! My helmet feels so secure and is extremely easy to put on and take off! I particularly like that I can remove the padding and machine wash. That was the best feature. Chin strap was easy to attach and remove while wearing my gloves (pull tab is a really nice touch!). I feel much safer with my new ILM helmet than I did with the first one I purchased in a shop in Thailand. Can't wait to get on the road when I get back there! 5+ ⭐!!! ... show more

So here’s the thing: this helmet? Absolute champ. Me? Not so much. I had the pleasure of testing it the hard way when my bike hydroplaned in a sudden downpour. My head hit the ground like a Spotify ad between sad songs (sudden, jarring, and completely uncalled for), and I felt nothing. Not a headache, not a wobble, just pure “huh, neat! It works!” The rest of my body was...not as neat, but my brain was chillin. Even my glasses somehow stayed on my face. Fit-wise, the XL hugs my head like my mother never did. The dual visor is perfect for Florida’s weather mood swings (from “stormy gloom” to “OH MY GOD THE SUN” in 0.3 seconds). Ventilation? Solid. Padding? Comfy. Modular mouthpiece? Perfect for yelling “I’M OKAY” to concerned bystanders. Quick-release strap? Maybe not the Fort Knox of safety features, but it held up when I turned into a bowling ball, so I’m not complaining. If you want NASA-grade protection, you’ll pay NASA prices. But if you’re like me, broke but still emotionally invested in having a skull, this helmet’s the move. Really nice helmet. All the pads are removable and can be washed and exchange pretty easy. I did measure my head for the sizing chart and it recommended that I get a large but the pads for the cheeks were still a little loose but luckily the seller stands behind their product and shiped me a larger pad so that the helmet would fit me as it should. So, first, what I like: Some may think this a negative, but this helmet is much heavier than my Orz helmet which makes it feel like it’s much more substantially constructed. The helmet’s main and secondary visors move nicely with the lever for the secondary visor in a convenient place that doesn’t get obstructed by my Bluetooth intercom. The interior of the helmet is thoughtfully designed with channels in the foam for installing a wired headset and deep recesses for speakers. The interior padding is comfortable and sits snugly against your head creating a feeling of safety. The only negatives I have are mostly surrounding the build tolerances. The helmet is noisy. There’s a lot of wind noise and whistling when not behind the bikes windscreen. Today is the first time I got caught in the rain wearing this helmet. As I was wiping the visor, I found streaks I couldn’t clear and discovered that it was water running down the inside of the visor and obstructing a clear view of the road. The only other observation I have is that the airflow isn’t fantastic. The air current inside the helmet feels the same whether the vents are open or closed and that flow isn’t directed down the inside of the visor so an anti-flog shield is pretty much a necessity. So, not certain I would buy this one again. I really like the quality feel, comfort and forethought of building it to accommodate an headset, but would really want something that had better performance for sound, airflow and waterproofing. ... show more
