Helmet looks great, fits great and is comfortable. Quick and fast shipping. Definitely measure your head for sizing to confirm, these helmets do run big — so size down. According to measurements, my size would be a medium. I decided to order a small based off what others have encountered with sizing issues (regardless of seller), and they were spot on. Best helmet I’ve ever owned. You should know that there’s only two sizes of OUTER shells. XS-MED use the smaller shell size. LG and up uses the larger shell. So, XS-MED really avoids giving you that huge bobble head look. Ventilation is adequate and it fogs up far less than other high end helmets I’ve used. I knew I wanted to get a modular helmet! It was either this or the sedici sistema. I’m glad I went with this Simpson mod bandit! Yeah the price difference of the 2 is absurd but I see why. The cushioning on the Simpson helmet is super comfortable given that I’m actually between a large and medium on the mod bandit. I tried on a friends large and it was way too loose and the medium I purchased fit a tad bit snug but it was still comfortable. I’ve had it for a few days now and got about 50 miles actually wearing it. The longest ride I’ve done while wearing it is 10 miles (I literally work 2 miles from my home) but I have worn it around the house for a good 6hrs total and I did not feel any discomfort while doing so. Hands down the best helmet I’ve ever owned. It’s ridiculously light for a mod helmet, it’s fairly quiet, has tons of airflow, and the inner shield is a sweet addition to have a back up shield if you have a dark mirrored one on the main shield. I’ll definitely go back to them when I need another. Sizing is way different than most though, I wear a 3xl for other brands, this one I wear an XL. From the start it feels super light weight, it’s so comfortable it’s like you been wearing it for a while.
