I knew I wanted to get a modular helmet! It was either this or the sedici sistema. I’m glad I went with this Simpson mod bandit! Yeah the price difference of the 2 is absurd but I see why. The cushioning on the Simpson helmet is super comfortable given that I’m actually between a large and medium on the mod bandit. I tried on a friends large and it was way too loose and the medium I purchased fit a tad bit snug but it was still comfortable. I’ve had it for a few days now and got about 50 miles actually wearing it. The longest ride I’ve done while wearing it is 10 miles (I literally work 2 miles from my home) but I have worn it around the house for a good 6hrs total and I did not feel any discomfort while doing so. I’m definitely going to be going with Simpson helmets for my future helmet purchases! ... show more

Missing pieces, purchased two one white one black for the wife and I. Hers is missing the locking tab for her visor, mine was scratched and the locking metal tab for the mandible is broken out of the box. QuLity is not what it used to be at all.
