Seriously, if you own a bike than hoarding money obviously isn't really your thing anyway ;-) But really though, these covers are awesome. The quality is great, it fits my HJC like a glove, the inside has a rubber like liner that 'grips' the helmet, so it doesn't slide back even at **higher speeds. The amount of attention, smiles, waves, & kids' faces lighting up makes it worth it alone. Plus, on a bike, you can't really be seen enough anyway, and this attracts loads of attention. **As mentioned in a lot of reviews this & I am sure all of the helmet covers do add a noticeable drag above about 60 mph which is understandable possibly not on a full fairing or bike w/ windscreen but on my Monster or probably any naked bike w/ small windscreen or no windscreen it is felt. It’s great but I can only wear it in cold weather. Visor not able to open. Fogs up even in the cold. Would need to remove visor and wear goggles perhaps. Really cute. Kids love it and it’s hilarious. It’s pretty sturdy material. Hard to access comms unit.

Listen, I got this as a joke, but it's grown on me. Quite literally, I feel wrong when I don't have it on. It makes kids and adults laugh when some burly dude on a cruiser rides by. I HIGHLY recommend if you don't care about how you look and you just wanna make people smile.

I was not expecting to get the amount of attention that I got wearing a silly cover, almost an overwhelming amount. Fortunately all of if was positive. Unfortunately it is too small to fit my favorite helmet (bell race star), but I have others it does fit. Also this thing has a lot of drag at speeds over 55mph, so I wouldn't recommend for longer rides on the highway, but perfect around town. All in all, my grievances are too minor to knock a star off and I'll probably end up with a few different flavors. ... show more

I have to admit that I wasn't looking for this when I bought it; I was buying helmet shields. Amazon put it in front of me as something I might want to buy because I was buying shields. I'm glad they did as I was in the mood for a novelty. The product quality is outstanding and even the packaging and simple instructions inspired confidence. Even if I wear it just one time, I'll feel like I got my money's worth. Now the bad news: I could only get it to fit one of my three helmets. I have a Shoei GT-Air, Scorpion AT950, and Icon Airmada all in X-Large, which means they have the largest shell size of their respective models. It only fit the Icon, but the fit on this helmet was pretty good. The other two helmets are longer because they are more touring/ADV with internal drop shields. I could almost get it started on the Shoei, but there's was no chance on the Scorpion. That's just as well; the Icon is what I wear when I'm thinking FUN short rides. I am able to raise the shield to the first detent with the cover on, so that's good for ventilation as needed. The bottom almost wraps around the edges of the helmet; the XL Airmada is stretching the cover as far as it will go. I expect smaller sizes won't have any problem and more sport oriented helmets are better suited to the cover than the long touring and ADV styles. The instructions say that the cover looks best with a dark shield, which I don't have for the Icon; I only have mirrored silver and gold, which still gives a pretty cool look I think. I'm going to try it out tomorrow and will update the review on how it rides and if I get any reaction. ... show more
