I just got this ladder but already I love it. Easy to carry, works smoothly and safely to raise & lower the rungs and easy to get into a small area for attic access. I wish I had bought one of these a long time ago, since I have for decades struggled with hauling cumbersome extension ladders through the house, trying to avoid banging into corners and items enroute to gain attic access. I think the price is more than reasonable for this quality product and the ease of using it. I especially like the way the manufacturers have installed raised stops under the rungs so there is a gap between them when closed. That prevents getting my fingers smashed when lowering the rungs, if I accidentally get them in the way of lowering the rungs. Other telescoping ladders haven't designed theirs with that feature. Easy to work with, I got the biggest one, it doesn't have the horizontal base the other's do, I use plywood in dirt. The steps are far apart but okay.

    • Good design but minus one star for lack of assembly instructions.
Size: 16.5FT（with Hooks）
Design of ladder seems to be good. The anti-pinch feature on this ladder will prevent the entire weight of the ladder from smashing down on your fingers, but there were no assembly instructions for the bottom rail included. I had to use pictures posted on Amazon as an assembly reference. There were plastic tabs inside the slots at the bottom of the ladder that I had to remove with pliers before the rail could be inserted. The orange feet were tight on the rail and hard to get started and also must be oriented properly. The black feet were also tight and hard to start on the rail and I had to use a plastic dead blow hammer to seat them all the way onto the rail. The alignment hole on one of the hooks was in wrong orientation and I had to loosen the bottom nut to correct it. You will also need 10mm wrenches or a couple of crescent wrenches to tighten the rail bolts and a screwdriver to attach the wheels. ... show more

My first trip up and it actually bowed almost 12" leaving the ladder in an almost vertical line. I haven't been scared on many ladders but this one had me praying I could get back down without someone finding me laying on the ground.

This ladder is lightweight, super tall, and very portable. If you need something for occasional use and you don't have room for a full extension ladder in the garage or if you need to transport a ladder in an ordinary car, this could be what you need. Extension is a piece of cake. (Once you notice the strap which keeps it from extending, duh.) Collapsing it is also easy but you have to either have two people or deal with each segment slamming down after you push the release buttons. Transport is easy. I think that this ladder weighs just a little more than a straight extension ladder of the same length, though I don't have one to compare directly. It'll fit in the back seat of a car or in the trunk with room to spare. The ladder's more than a bit wobbly, fully extended and holding my 240 pounds. It didn't feel unsafe, but it was definitely on the bouncy side. The steps are rather far apart. At 6'3" I didn't have trouble but at 5'4" my daughter did. She was able to climb up but didn't think she'd be able to if she had to carry something up as she was climbing. ... show more
