I bought this small wooden bench to sit while I put on shoes and to have a tidy place to stash a few everyday items near the door. Its compact size fits the entryway nicely, roughly 30 inches wide by 13.3 inches deep and about 17.4 inches tall, so it doesn’t crowd the space. I appreciated that it keeps the entry neat without feeling bulky. Setting it up was simple and quick. It is solid wood and feels sturdy in use, which matters when you are balancing a bag or loading a couple of slippers. In daily use I sit here to lace up or to lay out a light jacket, and the bench also serves as a small surface for mail or a tote. It holds up under regular use and the finish looks durable after a few weeks. What stood out is how the plain design actually blends with different decor. The rustic farmhouse vibe adds warmth without shouting, and the natural wood grain looks nice with other wood tones. It feels like a dependable piece you could move into the living room or dining area if needed, and it still looks right. One minor note is that it ships without a cushion, so adding a simple pillow can boost comfort and change the look. It would be nice if there were a cushion option, but even without one the seating is usable. Overall, I’m very happy with this solid wood bench.

This is a simple, beautiful, rustic-looking bench. It has a comfortable seating height and plank width, allowing your legs to rest naturally on the floor when seated. Made of solid wood, it has a sturdy weight to match. The shelf underneath is a nice touch and can come in handy if you want to use the bench as a side table or surface. However, if you're like me, you might expect the plank to be solid and thick, as it appears in the pictures. In reality, the bench has a box construction with thinner wooden planks. I agree with the description that the design is simple, but it's not quite the level of expert craftsmanship I anticipated. During assembly, I had to force the screws of the legs to align with the holes in the plank. On the plus side, the assembly instructions were clear and easy to follow. The wood isn't polished, which I assume is part of its "rustic" charm. Lastly, while the top edges of the plank are chamfered, all the other edges are quite sharp, which I find a bit off-putting.

Let’s talk about the Wnutrees 43" Farmhouse Wood Bench, which I’m convinced is the secret to looking like you have a whole lot more money than you actually do. It cost me way less than I expected for something that looks so great in our home. It’s basically the equivalent of wearing great shoes... except it's a bench. And you sit on it. Now, let's address the most important part: assembly. This bench? Easy peasy. The instructions were clear, the parts were all there, and in less time than it takes to heat up your microwave meal, I had a brand-new, beautifully rustic bench ready to show off. I let my kids help - that’s how easy it was. As for the build, it's both lightweight and sturdy – it’s like a little miracle of engineering. I can move it around with one hand (ideal for those moments when I decide to redecorate on a whim), but it also holds my weight without any issues. It's like that friend who’s super chill but still has your back when things get serious. And let’s talk about the price. When I first saw it, I thought, “This has to be a mistake. There’s no way it’s this affordable and still looks this great.” But nope, it’s the real deal. In short, if you’re looking for a bench that’s easy to assemble, sturdy enough for your family, and will make people think you’ve really got your life together (even if you haven’t), the Wnutrees Farmhouse Bench is your new best friend. Buy it, sit on it, and pretend you're more sophisticated than you really are. Highly recommend.

Super cute bench for decorating. It is best used for decoration as it does tend to be a bit lightweight. I'm skeptical as to how much weight it could hold but it serves my purpose great! As described by seller. Would definitely recommend.

This is a beautiful bench. I got the shorter one and it’s a nice rustic cool mid brown. It was a nightmare to put together. The holes didn’t align up at all so it’s literally only held together on one side. See pictures. The screws are outside of where they need to be!! For the price it’s not worth it given the alignment issues.

LOVE LOVE LOVE This was a great purchase from Amazon. Easy to put together. Great fit for my room. Color works for farmhouse decor. Wood is sturdy, but not recommended for daily use. More of a decorative piece.
