It was easy to assemble and seems fairly sturdy. The wood is very lightweight and the legs are checked, with one leg having multiple ugly attempts at filling the cracks. There's no clear coat, it's all raw wood. The white wash rubbed off on my hands as I assembled it. This would have been better priced at $25. If I don't return it, the reason will be that the shipping box and packaging were a one shot deal and I don't want the headache.

I really like the style and color of this bench. I do wish it was a tad bit higher as there seems to be too much space from the top of the bench to the top of our wainscoting...but adding a pillow on the bench helped it to look better fitted for the space. Love the look in the entryway. It was super easy to assemble...took hubby about 5 minutes.
