These lights are cool! They are super easy to install and set up. I do not have an external video source to connect so we don’t do the “live” change of color but these lights have a lot more to offer! They are so many colors to choose from, you can dim them, make them flicker (candlelight), and you can even set a schedule for when they come on and off! Mine turns on at sunset and turns off at 10:30pm. It’s a simple feature but how neat! You can also connect your music (from your phone) to it and get the light to react and change based on that music (TV off, lights react to your music). Overall, a nice add on to our TV! The media could not be loaded. Setting up the light strip was surprisingly easy, It took me about 20-30 minutes with my partner. While I initially was worried about needing to lay down my TV, However i could complete the setup without moving my TV. I would say setting up the light strip is definitely a two person job. Software setup was even simpler, it took me 1-2 minutes by following the in-app instructions. A minor issue that i faced with Apple TV 4K was that enabling Dolby Vision resulted in a black screen. To resolve this, I had to select 4K SDR and then activate "Match Frame Rate" and "Dynamic Range" in the Apple TV settings. Performance and Accuracy wise i am genuinely impressed with the performance and color matching accuracy of this system. It significantly elevates my movie night viewing experience. The inclusion of black bar detection makes sure that color matching detection worked when there are black bars on the top of any content. IMHO, For casual TV watchers and movie enthusiasts new to ambient lighting, this product is a no-brainer, especially considering its price point. Pros: 1) Excellent value, particularly with the light strip included. 2) Real-time HDMI signal syncing with minimal lag. 3) No camera or complex calibration required. 4) Works seamlessly with WiZ smart lighting and Matter. 5) Supports black bar detection for better coloar matching accuracy. Cons: 1) Only one HDMI input is available, requiring a separate HDMI switcher for multiple devices. 2) 3-Sided Lighting: The light strip covers three sides (top and sides), not all four. This simplifies installation considerably but this lacks bottom illumination. 3) Restricted to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks. 4) No HDMI 2.1 Support: this can be a limitation serious gamers who need higher refresh rates and resolutions. For my Apple TV 4K streaming (since most OTT content is 4K 60 Hz), hence its not a deal-breaker for me. However, HDMI 2.1 QMS (Quick Media Switching) on my Apple TV does not work, So i see delayed black screens during app transitions. I am assuming Wiz will continue improving this even futhur with software. I will appreciate an option to automate the light strip's operation only during nighttime hours. Currently, the in-app automation automatically activates the light strip whenever the TV turns on, even during the day. I recently installed the WiZ Connected HDMI Sync Box with TV Backlight on my 75-inch TV, and it’s been a fantastic upgrade to my entertainment setup. The installation was simple and straightforward - just plug in the HDMI source, attach the LED strip to the back of the TV, and you’re good to go. The strip had no problem covering the larger screen size, and the adhesive held firmly in place. The lighting effects are what make this product special. The way the colors sync in real time with movies, games, and even music makes the viewing experience far more immersive. Action scenes feel more dramatic, and gaming has an added layer of excitement with the lights reacting instantly to what’s happening on screen. Even listening to music feels more fun with the lights pulsing to the beat. It’s worth noting that it requires an external video source, so make sure your setup can support that.     • Great Product, but Amazon Shipped the Wrong Size Four Times

I ended up giving this a one-star rating, but it’s not because the WiZ HDMI Sync Box and backlight perform poorly. The product itself is fantastic once you actually get the correct size. My issue was with the repeated shipping mistakes. Amazon sent me the wrong size four separate times for my TV, which turned the whole process into a headache. Each time I tried to reorder, the same incorrect version showed up again. After the fourth attempt, I finally gave up. I ended up buying the correct size from Walmart instead, and that experience was completely different. The one from Walmart arrived exactly as advertised, and once I had the right size installed, the sync box worked perfectly. The lighting effects are smooth, the colors match the screen beautifully, and the whole setup reacts instantly to movies, games, and music. The 4K 60Hz support works as expected, and the immersion is a huge upgrade over standard LED strips. So the product itself deserves five stars. The performance is excellent, the backlight looks incredible behind a large TV, and the RGBIC strip adds a lot of depth to whatever you’re watching. But the ordering experience through Amazon was so consistently wrong that I had no choice but to rate the purchase one star.
