My absolute favorite lip color. I've used a few different shades and have been pleased with all of them. It stays on for a very long time and doesn't leave my lips feeling like they've been coated in gunk. It does dry your lips out a bit, but thats normal with long-wear lip products and is easily fixed with some chapstick after removing it in the evening. I'd also suggest to put this product on layer by layer. I hate when I can feel product on my lips, and making sure you give each thin layer a chance to dry before building up the color really helps with that. Pictured is Premier Plum, my favorite.

I purchased this product in most of the colors-- I'm pretty impressed with it. I think it's a happy medium between Revlon's 16 hour colorstay that's almost impossible to get off, and their ultra hd which looks good, but doesn't wear well and requires reapplication throughout the day. I personally don't think Amazon's "Try On" feature is very accurate though, as all of the colors I purchased are much lighter and pinker than the feature indicated they would be, even after applying multiple coats. While all the shades I purchased work, some just weren't exactly what I was hoping for. Favorite shades: Top Tomato (pictured) Royal Raisin Pros: Wears well, long lasting Passed the cup test (no transfer) Dries quickly Doesn't dry lips out Cost Well pigmented Cons: Colors don't always translate the way you think they will Some colors have a lot of glitter (for instance, the Vigorous Violet is very heavy on the glitter. If you're not careful, the color can come out looking like those early 2000s frosted lip glosses from Claire's) Recommendation Lightly exfoliate your lips and moisturize at night. I find this helps prevent lips from drying-out. Stick within shades you already know work for your skin tone (read: don't trust the "Try On feature)

I have been using this Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Liquid Lipstick in NUDE for a solid 6 years now. It's "my color." If they stopped making it I think I might actually die. It is the most complimentary shade for my skin tone and I always get compliments. It's a great neutral, every day shade if you like a slightly darker tint. It stays on ALL DAY and I have to use actual makeup remover to get it all off. A++++ It does not look cakey or crack over time like so many others (Kylie Jenner I'm looking at you). Only negative is that it is not moisturizing. If I am chapped or dry I will use an oil or balm over my lips first, but this tends to not make the color stay as long. But if I apply to my bare lips it for real stays put y'all!

Why doesn’t any cosmetic blend color anymore? These are Crayola copies of colors that don’t flatter. If you are 20,30, even forty you can make up like a clown and possibly look chic but I am an advocate for finding the best colors for your individual hair, skin and eyes. It appears to me these cosmetic companies are headed byBeautiful women who can wear anything and still look great. Most of us are not that lucky - color is everything. While I applaud the addition of cosmetics for women of color and Latin lineage,it seems that white women have been left out. When I see the models there are no blonde women with neutral to warm skin and blue eyes. We are part of the population too as are redheads. What gives?

YES, this is a good product. It goes on easily, looks natural, stays on for hours even while eating or drinking. Doesn't come off on anything. I stopped wearing lipstick for years but a colleague told me about this and I will definitely wear this every day. It is a little drying, so carry some lip balm to apply over it, but it's not irritating at all. Also not sticky once it dries. The Nude #1 color is very natural looking, a balanced pink/beige color. I am very fair but this would work for many different skin tones. I also bought the Iconic Iris color which is a little more pink but also very natural looking.

My Criteria: 1. Must stay in place ALL DAY! Yes 2. Flattering color. Yes 3. Fits in a small purse easily. Mostly, a little bigger than most. 4. Sturdy-yes 5. Not drying- it is a bit, but I have a fix tip below 6. Doesn’t cost an arm and a leg—-a bit high 7. Accessible—seems to be harder and harder to find I’m the kind of girl who wants to put on make up in the morning and NOT THINK ABOUT IT AGAIN! My first time using this product was at least 10 years ago now. I was shocked when I put it on in the morning and when I went to bed, needed to take it off!! I think they changed the formula a little at some point so now it isn’t as drying and still stays in place. It’s more drying than a regular lipstick but a more fair comparison would be Cover Girl Outlast and Maybelline Super Stay. it stays longer than both of these. Tips: 1. Wipe mouth with astringent before applying 2. Dry completely before putting on a second color 3. Put liner on AFTER the color if you really need it 4. Dry completely and then use a non-oil-based topper if you want shine or softness (I found Cover Girl outlast moisturizing lip to work well with this plus it can be purchased solo). The price seems to go up and up over the years which is a shame. It does last daily use for a couple months but still....$8-9/pop is more pricey than a drugstore lip color should be. All told, this is my FAVORITE lip color and lip product. I use it DAILY.
