Best buy for the price
Best buy for the price, I have had this brand for 15+ years on another boat and they hold up. I fit mine with a piece of plastic pipe to avoid locking

Very useful.
The flush mount gives me another option in placing my poleholder in an area that would not accept the side mount . Very useful.

Nice, clean set up
Nice, clean set up. The only way to mount a rod holder, takes up no space and is never in the way!

2 centimeter diameter? This is not a rod holder. I am at a complete and utter loss.
Someone please tell me how it is possible to call this product a rod holder. I own a dozen fishing rods of various sizes from tiny (child size) to standard and all points in between. Not one of these fishing rods will fit in this rod holder. In fact, I measured it and the diameter of the hole is just slightly larger than 2 centimeters wide. TWO CENTIMETERS! Are these fishing rods for fairies who are under a foot tall? This makes no sense whatsoever. I cannot understand who would buy this product - or who would try to sell it. Yet right now there are 4 other reviews for this product on Amazon and they are all 5 star reviews. Were these people paid for their perfect reviews? I cannot fathom any other way that anyone would consider this product a rod holder. I am totally at a loss. Maybe they sent me a defective version of the product or one that was specifically designed for elves. Not sure, but in any case, I am returning immediately.

It is open on the bottom, not suitable for a fishing kayak. I know nowhere does it state that it is compatible with Scotty rod holder, but it looked the same so I assumed it was, It is NOT compatible with scotty rod holder stuff.. Just fyi. Not detracting for that, as it didn't say it was, just wanted to mention it.
