I had some doubts about battery powered under cabinet lights. Having to run wires to them or else having to remember to charge them I've honestly been avoiding lights like this even though there are a few dark spots in my home where between cost and practical use cases it just isn't worth it to have an electrician run another light bulb and switch. This set of lights may have flipped my opinion. The instruction sheet has some broken English and vague terms so are far from perfect, but it's pretty easy to play around with It for a few minutes to get the hang of it and set it up with the color and light mode you want to use. I was also deeply impressed with the mounting solution. No screws or drills are needed. There are a couple of metal plates with an adhesive backing that the light and magnetically hang off of. Unpack the light and parts, place the metal plates near the light's magnetic areas, take off the adhesive cover sheet, then firmly press the assembly to wherever you want it to be mounted at. I mounted these in a closet that needed a lot of light and left them in motion-sensing mode and I expect them to last a few weeks before I need to unmount them and give them a charge. Aside from the simplicity in setting up the lights, the other reason I like the magnetic mounting is that while these are not the brightest lights out there, they are very usable, and with being able to provide up to 33 hours of light, I could see these being useful in cases of a power outage. Grab them when they're needed, and turn them on continuously or with the motion sensor feature, charge them with a USB C port if needed, and return them to their normal spot when you're finished. The only reason I'm not giving these a full 5 stars is that 1) the aforementioned issues with the instruction sheet, and 2 while usable, they're not as bright as I would like. I'm essentially putting both of these in a closet where I'd be happier if only one of these lights was needed for sufficient light to be in the space.

These motion sensor lights sold by Vigor Path are great to have around the house for a multitude of applications. We've placed motion activated lights in certain dark rooms where we just need a little temporary light or in a bathroom as a night light. We're also beginning finding uses for motion sensor lights as emergency lighting as living in Florida during storm season often leads to power outages which could otherwise leave us in the dark. As these include a dimming function as well as color temperature control, these are great as night lights at their lowest brightness with the warm temperature color setting. Once set, they will remember that setting until changed. The battery life is great on these too and we have yet to recharge them since their initial charge a few weeks ago. The motion sensor works very well but we've noticed that they will trip when the room is still fairly well lit. We do have some other motion sensor LEDs that have a "dark-light" setting which can trigger them even under ambient light but most others without this function will typically only work when it's very dark. Not a big issue but it just comes on a little too soon while the room is still illuminated. Mounting is very simple using the included self adhesive steel mounts which will capture the magnetic area of the LED light. My only complaint with this is that the mounting point is not centered and so if mounting horizontally, they can tilt slightly which also makes them less secure. The magnetic mounting system is great for removing them for recharging but the 20cm versions could use an extra mounting magnet for added stability. At the current price of $23.99, they are good value but considering those minor observations I'll give them 4 stars

The light is great. I have it on daylight color and when I open the hall closet door, it's like I opened the curtains on a bright sunny day. The motion sensor works great. Within a couple seconds of opening the door it lights up. It's bright enough to find what I need. And it shuts off soon after I close the door. The magnet isn't that strong. If you are putting this in a location where it is likely to get whacked by hands, heads, broom handles, etc, it is likely to fall off. But on the ceiling, it works fine. And it's very easy to pull out and recharge when needed. This is a Vine Program review. While Vine Program items are received at no cost, I choose the actual items to receive and review. As such, I am only going to receive and review items that I have an interest in owning AND that I think are of decent quality/value. This means that my Vine Program reviews will tend to be positive - because I have no interest in receiving items that are obviously garbage or hold no interest for me.

My title pretty much said it all. The whole fixture is magnetic, so if you want to stick it to something metal, you don't need to do anything to get it to stick. It also comes with two metal brackets with double stick tape on them. You put the lamp on the brackets, peel off the tape, and stick it up. Then you can easily remove the lamp from the bracket to charge it when needed. The lamp lasts a good while as long as it doesn't stay on. That is where the motion detection can be an issue - it can be inconsistent. We have one that turns on and off quite well. The other one will turn on, but then it stays on. We're pretty sure we programmed it right - I think perhaps there is something triggering it to stay on. In any case, I'm sure they will replace it - Amazon is very good about that. I think these are a good value - very easy to use and install.
