The media could not be loaded. This is an amazing product that gives you great sound quality and keeps the cost low. The audio quality is excellent both indoor and outdoor. I feel like a moron that I used to spend $300+ on a Sennheiser mic, which took in way too much background noise. This Alvoxcon mic is great in audio quality, portability, price, easy to use. Love it. It's extremely easy to setup. Simply plugin to adapter than to your phone/pc. Then turn it on, then you are good to go. I tested this on my iPhone 5s, Andriod Phone, and my desktop. Only the desktop needs a bit of setup from the system. Mobile devices work like a charm. I think the best use for this one will be on your mobile device, PC/laptop, etc. I love the wireless feature, it saves lots of space without compromise the sound quality.     • Really plug and play!
I received the Alvoxcon UM310-Pro USB wireless microphone system the other day, intending to use for Facetime and phone conferencing. Nice packaging contained all the components in plastic bags. The user manual is well written and easy to understand- no technology degree required. After charging the transmitter, I tested the system first with my Windows PC. The receiver fired right up, the HP took a minute or so to configure the new device, then it was ready to go. I powered up the transmitter and it was immediately recognized by the receiver, ready to use 10 minutes after I took it out of the box. Plug and play, for sure. The Pro unit comes with an iPhone adapter. I plugged the receiver into the iPhone adapter, opened a recording app on my iPhone and started using the wireless mic. Level controls on the transmitter body work well. Both the lavalier and the plug-in mic's sound pretty good, certainly for the price of the system. I didn't have to mess with changing frequencies, but that process sounds pretty easy, if you need to use it. I don't have Android, but if it works with iPhone I'm sure it'll work with an Android device. Seems to be well made, good deal for the price. I like this little microphone system. ... show more

    • Didn't work well, and can't be trusted
I purchased this to be able to record more professional quality audio as I walk around my shop during videos shot on my iPhone 12 Pro Max. The instructions to get it working were a little odd at first and I noticed a lot of interference, but then found that it is very important to have the antenna extended. On more than one occasion, I thought I was recording but wound up with no audio. Eventually, I got the hang of the process, but the unit did not work especially well. It would regularly cut out or get scratchy. Sometimes the cutting out was intermittent, other times it would cut completely and just stop working entirely. Far too unreliable for me. Returned and purchased a different type of wireless mic that uses a battery pack. A little bit more expensive, but worth the peace of mind. ... show more

    • Crisp audio, easy to use
It sounded perfect when working with my samsung note10 cell phone paired with the transmitter clipped to my belt with the wire lapel mic clipped to my blouse. Then I tried the transmitter with the included short mic plugged directly into it, clipped on to my blouse, then just hand holding the transmitter with mic plugged into it. It worked well both ways. My conclusion is that it’s a very versatile mic system for cell phone interviews. 1. I love that you have the option to use the wireless mic in 3 ways: as a standard lapel mic, as a hand-held mic (mic plugged into the receiver) and as a no wire lapel mic. I tried clipping the transmitter onto the lanyard around my neck but if you move around while recording video, you can hear the rustling noise as the mic rubs against the shirt. 2. The audio is clear and crisp. I tested it at a further distance than I would ever record an interview, more than 8 feet. 3. I love that I can plug earphones into the receiver and listen to the interview audio while recording so I can make adjustments if needed. In conclusion, this will be my go-to mic for professional interviews using a cell phone because it is more convenient to use, more options and has strong audio. ... show more

    • It’ll work if sound quality isn’t important
PROS: - Very simple, no setup required. - Affordable - Gets the sound from point A to point B CONS: - Has some background noise (hum). - Power button is placed where it can easily be pressed in a pocket (had it happen twice and didn’t get important audio) - Sound quality is not comparable to higher-end units - Can only use one unit - DON’T TRY TO USE MORE THAN ONE AT A TIME. Puppies will die, babies will cry, and California will fall into the ocean. Or it just won’t work. Overall, this unit is decent for the price. For my purposes (little tutorials and YouTube videos) I need something with better quality. But if you just need to get the sound to move through the air to your phone or other device, this will get the job done. The low price is what makes it worth something. If it were $50 it would be a hard pass, but at this price, it may have its uses. Not for me, but for someone. ... show more

    • Decent, but not pro quality
This mic is beyond easy to set up. It is the ultimate plug 'n' play! Just plug it into the host device (in my case and iPad Pro) and clip the mic onto your shirt, and you're ready to go. Recording was easy, and the sound quality itself was decent. My only problem was the volume was too low. I was using this to create a video in iMovie, and even increasing the volume by 400% it still wasn't strong enough to use any background music, even though I reduced the volume of the music to 1%. Maybe if the host device has an additional amplifier it might work. Such a shame, as I really like the product in every other way. This is a nice simple, not to mention very affordable, wireless mic, but unfortunately not for my purpose. ... show more
