I have a vlog on YouTube. It's more of a hobby than monetized, but it has a professional production quality. This wireless mic works way better than another wired lavalier / lapel mic I purchased on Amazon. For the price, this is a solid choice. No more tripping over the cord. No more untangling the cord. Sound quality it pretty good. I like that direct, full sound instead of shotgun and certainly way better than using a camera or phone's built in mic. Only downside is it records in mono so in Premiere I have to batch all the audio clips at once to double the mono audio into the other channel. No biggie, just an extra step. Use this for one-on-one translation at church. Sound quality is phenomenal over a distance of about 40 yards and even through two walls. No feedback, and once you learn how to control volume, very easy to adjust. Two gripes: 1. Price. They are expensive. 2. I cannot find additional stand-alone receivers that could be purchased as the need grows. I refuse to continue buying transmitters when I only require one of them. ... show more

They are great Microphones. The sound quality is not the best, the voice don't sound that deep but they are pretty good for the value. They feel good on the hands, just the buttons do feel a little shaky but they work good. Now with Davinci IA Voice Isolation improve the sound quality really nice.

    • Decent value but with some major drawbacks

Saw a lot of good reviews on YouTube for this product, so I bought it trying to save myself some money when compared to similar systems that cost more. Overall the system was easy to use and I liked that it included a case at this price point, but I wasn't impressed with the sound quality. The built-in mic in the transmitter and the included lav mic sounded kind of thin and shrill to me (different from what I had heard in video reviews). Another complaint was that there doesn't seem to be a way to record the audio from the single transmitter to both channels on the receiver (even when I set the receiver to stereo mode it still only recorded the audio to one side of the stereo field) - this can be fixed in post but it's just another step that adds to the workflow. But for me the deal breaker was the electrical background noise that this system generates which is very noticeable during recording and playback - I can reduce it in post with Izotope plugins but at the expense of degrading the sound quality. Overall the system was unusable for my purposes - decided to return it. ... show more

The microphone is overall great. I really don't have anything negative to say about it. Only bad thing is I have to use an adapter to use with my iPhone but that's not the products fault at all. I have had no issue with battery life at all - lasts long enough for my use. One interesting thing is that it comes with a usb to 3 USB-C - to charge the two devices and ?? something I suppose. It was just funny to me, but it's nice to have. One of my favorite things about this is the carrying case. The case feels great and is definitely good. It was just very surprising as the case isn't mentioned at all in this listing. I didn't even think about it when I purchased it but the ease of carrying this around is nice to have. ... show more

    • Great wireless audio solution if you dont want to risk your main recording gear

TL:DR, this is probably the best wireless audio solution I've tried that I feel comfortable with using in situations I'm likely to break the gear. The audio quality is really close to the Rode Wireless systems but for a cheaper price. It's plastic casing is more solid than other alternatives and with it's cheaper price, it lets me feel comfortable putting this thing in the elements or on more dangerous rigs without worrying about how much it is. The audio is really clear too. I've had more problems with it being too loud and needing to turn it down as opposed to it being too quiet and having to add more gain until theres a buzz like other wireless systems. The media could not be loaded. I liked all the included accessories and the audio quality was great. It seems to have trouble passing a signal through any amount of human flesh, including my hand, to be fair the manual warns to always have the transmitter facing the receiver unobstructed. For the price compared to the competition just on the transmitter mic alone it's a great deal, and when you look at how much the others charge for the extra camera connections and lavalier mic this is a solid price. The only things I'd change for the next version is better ability to pass through people and adding a modest amount of onboard storage for when the connection is lost with the receiver, say 2 to 4 hours uncompressed rolling recording, this would also allow taking the transmitter out alone on short trips to get-B roll or if for some reason the reciever battery was too low. ... show more

Some specs say a range of 50 feet while others say 50 meters. It's more the latter. This little beauty stayed connected 150 feet thru several interior walls. The sound quality has good dynamic range and tones, yet I did have a bit of high freq white noise (could be environmental). But applying the usual denoise filter in post cleaned it right up. At 150 feet it sounded like I was right beside the camera. Excellent. It's also very simple to use and the small lightweight packaging adds next to nothing to the gear bag.
