The futon itself is comfortable but I had to give the frame away. It ls nice but was too heavy and complicated to set up. I got an inexpensive 50 dollar firm metal frame to put my futon on top of instead. Money lost! Futon in Hunter Green looks very nice in my light green spare room when in "sofa mode," and my guest staying over has had no trouble sleeping on it! The reason not 5 stars--I am a single woman--seems like the delivery people could offer some assistance getting this heavy thing in the house! I was home all day, and never even KNEW when it was delivered--no one knocked, or rang the bell (and, it was supposed to snow!) It came a bit earlier than promised ( a GOOD thing!) but, that's why I wasn't yet looking for it. One other problem that's not too serious--the wood plugs they sent to cover up where the screws go are loose enough that they keep falling out! Pre-drilled holes should be slightly smaller, or the screws slightly bigger! Overall, though, I think a good value for the money. ... show more

I love this futon. It is beautiful (green), comfortable, and very sturdy. It takes 2 people to assemble and it was 3 hours before we got it completed in our small space but I absolutely love it.

This is the most uncomfortable, horrible sofa I've ever purchased. The futon is not a mattress. It is made with poly-cotton. The cover is non-removable because it's tufted on the poly-cotton. If you tried to peel the cover off the poly-cotton so called mattress, it would fall apart. I thought I was purchasing a mattress, not something that looks like insulation you put in your attic. The way the so called mattress sits in the frame causes me extreme back pain. After sitting on only one side of the futon, it's now lopsided. I hope I can save a few of you reading this from wasting your money. ... show more
