Is the door bell battery operated? If yes, how do I replace batteries after 15 month of buying them?

Great value for the price.
Size: 1 Transmitter+1 Receiver
I bought the single transmitter / receiver - works very well. Easy to install the transmitter and to pair them. The reason for the 4 stars - the instructions were not clear for pairing a particular melody (ring tone). After we selected the melody and did the long (5-7 seconds) volume press, then I ra
n to the front door (since I hastily installed the transmitter) and pressed the transmitter and it would default back to it's original ring tone. They did not mention that the transmitter button should be pressed within 5 sec after the receiver melody selection. Finally, I had got someone waiting at the transmitter to press the button right after the long press of the volume procedure and it worked. Overall, it works great. I hope it lasts. My last one lasts only 7-8 years and environment took care of the button on the transmitter not working since it bakes in the Texas heat in the afternoons.

I use this in my open-spaced classroom so visitors can alert me that they've entered my room. The room is massive, and if I am teaching in one area, it is hard to see when people enter. This bell's sound carries through the large space.

I ordered 2 sets for 2 residences, 1 worked perfect but the other set had 1 non functional receiver ( the other 2 receivers wert fine) I am returning for a replacement set

It’s was easy to set up. The screwdriver was a little weak, for the location. Once I got it going it good! I wish I would have seen this product sooner!

The door bell is the perfect size for where it was installed. The receiver was installed in the dinning room like the previous doorbell. This is not very loud. Even though the dinning room and living room are close by, you can barley hear the chimes in the living room. The volume is set to max.
