Loud enough for large homes, quiet enough for nurseries. NOTE: NOT Plug & Play. Setup requires two apps: SmartLife + Google Home. Can I connect the chime directly to Google Home? No. The chime first needs to be added to the Smart Life App. Then create a Household Routine in Google Home to make the chime play when your doorbell rings. Follow the setup guide for easy step-by-step instructions. Why can't I find "Doorbell rings" as a trigger in Google Home? You may be creating a Personal Routine. Google Home only allows doorbell events through a Household Routine. Please select "Household Routine" when creating the automation. See the setup guide for screenshots. Is this a plug-and-play doorbell chime? This is a smart WiFi chime. Setup requires connecting the chime to the Smart Life App and creating a Google Home routine. After setup, the chime works independently through your WiFi connection. Your phone is only needed for initial setup and changing settings. Why is there a delay before the chime rings? A short delay (usually a few seconds) is normal for battery-powered video doorbells because the doorbell needs to wake up and send the signal. Wired doorbells usually respond faster.
