I don't leave many reviews, but I had to leave one for this device after reading through countless reviews for it and many other similar models. This one is a bit more expensive than others, but I got mine when it was on sale for $49.99 and it is a steal at that price. First off, the device is small and leaves a tiny footprint in the center cubby of my car. I have a 2021 Kia Forte GT and this device fits absolutely perfectly just above the Andoid Auto port. It installed easily and the included 3M tape holds perfectly. The instructions tell you to enable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, but once it's plugged in, you scan for a new Bluetooth device, tap the name of your device, and it's connected instantly and Android Auto is working immediately. I turned my car off, walked out of range to let it all disconnect, walked back to my car and turned it on and Android Auto connected instantly. If you're like I was and you're weary about these devices and reading countless reviews of others and worried about wasting money, do yourself a favor and get this one. I'm extremely OCD when it comes to purchases involving technology because I'm very particular about my technology, but this device is the one!

..don't follow the instructions. It would not work if you follow the instructions. It took me 1/2 a day of messing with it and searching the web to figure it out by accident. Let your phone's Bluetooth pair with the car's hands-free and let the wifi connect to the box. My S22+ phone could not pair with the box. I gave up and paired my phone back to my car and it started to work. As others have stated, there is a lag for the box to start playing.

I bought a 2023 Honda Ridgeline that surprised me in not having wireless Android auto. This was the perfect answer. It's takes seconds to install..plug in..connect to smartbox via your phones BT and done. Slight lag to start but no bid deal. It once came up "no device" but just waited and it connected. Really a great solution to constantly plugging in your phone. Perfect!

Blazing fast connection no wait time. I bought motorola MA1 and regretted that purchase immidiately because I had sudden disconnects. After troubleshooting for so much time I never fixed it so I decided to buy this wireless adapter. Connecting to the car immidiate, no waiting time. I recommend you buy this product. The MA1 has issues with Mazda CX5 2020.

Using it on my 2017 Honda Accord EX-L with my Samsung S22+, it works extremely well for me. I am only using Bluetooth connection. It connects automatically when I turn my car on(there is a few second waiting time while car system starts).

I love that it saves time, the only reason I’m taking a star away is because I wish there was a way to change out the cord for a longer one.. I’m only conserved about it pulling on my usb port but otherwise I love it!

To be fair at first I was gonna rate this 1 star because the instructions were horribly worded & I couldn't figure out the password for the WiFi so I set it aside. FYI it's 88888888. I let it sit for a couple of hours & when I tried again BOOM it worked. Gotta say this little thing has made my life a whole lot easier. Before I was always disconnecting on bumps & when using my phone & even after buying new cables it always came back. Not anymore! Tbh i've only had it for 2 days but so far it's great. If you can get it for $65 with shipping i'd say go for it!
