  • Exactly as advertised
Size: 1.25 Fl Oz (Pack of 1) Color: Rose Madder Genuine
I got the 'used' oil paint because it was more than half off the new version just to see, out of morbid curiosity, what I would get. And... I got a clearly slightly used bottle of oil paint. In the correct color, even! Oil paint can last for AGES and there's a thriving market for used paint, and this bottle is just slightly used, still has plenty of paint in it, and is in older packaging. Exactly as advertised, so well done! ... show more

  • Good Buy
Size: 1.25 Fl Oz (Pack of 1) Color: Raw Umber
I was in a pinch and bought this paint from Amazon. Paid a little extra for it but I save time and time is money. Thanks Amazon. Winsor and Newton is an excellent Professional Grade oil paint. Will buy again.

  • Made in China??
Size: 1.25 Fl Oz (Pack of 1) Color: Yellow Ochre
I give it 5 stars based on prior use of W&N although I haven’t tried this tube of paint yet. What I’m concerned about is that the tube is marked Made in France, and there is a sticker with Chinese lettering on the back of the tube that reads Made in China. What’s up with that, Winsor & Newton?

Windsor & Newton oil paints are in a class by themselves. Very high quality.

  • Cadmium yellow dark
Size: 1.25 Fl Oz (Pack of 1) Color: Cadmium Yellow
It’s very dark for a cadmium yellow and can’t be mixed with blue to make a green. Well it can, but the brightest green you’re going to get is olive/army green. It definitely has an orange tone in it, which surprised me for a cadmium yellow. The paint quality itself though is great. I love this brand. ... show more

  • Poor packaging
Size: 1.25 Fl Oz (Pack of 1) Color: Cadmium Yellow Deep
The paint was fine except that it came in the package without the lid or the metal seal that brand usually has. It spilled over inside the bag and over the other items of my order.

  • Amazing paints
Size: 1.25 Fl Oz (Pack of 1) Color: Titanium White
I have been an artist for years but just recently got interested in painting with oils. Since I already had brushes and supplies I just bought a cheap introductory paint set from Walmart to try out the medium. I had a lot of fun with the oil paints and loved the thickness of the paint but noticed I had to use a quarter of a small tube every time I wanted to paint anything. For a regular size painting it took half a tube of the white paint, so I decided to upgrade and purchase a larger, higher quality tube. The difference between these paints and the cheaper paints is as plain as black and white. The pigments in Winsor and Newtons paints are beautiful, vibrant, and much stronger. A small dab of the Titanium White does the same job as a half tube of the cheaper paint you get at your local mall. Winsor and Newton paints have a buttery consistency that is a joy to paint with. I plan to replace all my cheap paints with these higher quality paints as soon as possible. To anyone wondering if the higher price paints are worth it, they definitely are!! You can get away with cheap acrylics and watercolors but if you plan on taking up oil painting as a hobby, get the good paints. ... show more
