I bought two of these both in size medium—the pink floral and black polka dot. They are a very good price and I needed a dress quick to wear to a wedding shower. I would have kept them both. The odd thing is that no matter how many times I tried them both on, the pink floral was not flattering on my body. The pink one seemed to accent every pudgy pillow, bulge, and panty line. The darker color really did look better. Also, the pink floral one seemed to highlight more the vintage style of ruffles on the bodice and it reminded me of the aprons that my grandmother used to wear when I was a child. The black polka dot dress didn’t seem to do that. I kept and wore the black polka dot dress to the shower and am returning the pink floral. The dresses are unlined and the fabric feels a bit like crepe (slightly rough texture—not soft or silky feeling but stretchy and comfortable). They zip down the back. As a side benefit I wasn’t planning on, the theme of the wedding shower was in the style of two famous mouses and the polka dot dress fit in perfectly with that! I think I might wear that again as MM for Halloween! For reference, I am almost 5’ tall and weight 129 lbs. and got size medium which fits fine. This was a lovely dress. My husband liked it on me. The description states it is lightweight, but I was still expecting more of a scuba type fabric. It was more of a crepe. I can’t say the description was incorrect just not what I was expecting. I usually wear a large but ordered an XL. Based on the size chart I knew it might be a little tight on me; it was. I would say to make sure you go by the size chart, not your usual size. My recommendations: 1. Order a size based on the size chart. 2. i was looking for something cute to wear to church after giving birth that gave a flattering appearance with out being to snug in the stomach area. Goal accomplished. im am about 5'7 and currently 176-177. it has a good length as well that doesnt make you worried about bending down. light colored or skin toned under garments would probably be best as it is a little more sheer than preferred. no problem with the right choice though! ... show more
