Very nice mixer. Very helpful for degassing or just stirring product in carboys. First one I ever owned and it comes in very handy. Just be careful with the stem of the stirrer at the mouth of a glass carboy. Easy to sterilize and clean.

Mixes my wine and mead as it should, just wish it was an inch longer. I have a bigger plastic one for the big carbouy. This metal one fits nice in the small neck.

Strongly recommend this product for anyone making meat or any large batch of liquid that needs to be mixed up. I started out by shaking the jars and it wore out my arms very quickly. With this product I’m able to stir up any of the batches that I am making very easily.

It's a metal degassing stirrer, quality is as it should be. It does the same job as a plastic one but it is heavier... also more durable. Easier to actually get clean as the steel is less porous than the plastic. Choose what you want.

I made my first mead a couple of months ago and didn't bother buying a mixer like this. The honey settled to the bottom of the carboy and just sat there. I was able to get this within a day or two and mixed the must and ended up with a great product. This fits perfect on my drill and slides into and out of a 1 gal carboy with no problem. Get it...you know you want to!
