Having 5 cats in our household, it is occasionally necessary to transport more than one at a time, whether it is to the car to go see the ducks at the pond, to the vet, or to a cat show. Recently I had a horrible thought - what if we had to evacuate and leave with all cats at once - in a moment's notice? In this instance - having only two carriers wouldn't be enough. I set out to buy 2 more so each cat had their own. All of our cats LOVE each other, but in a time of emergency or panic, who knows how they would react if they were scared. They would deserve their own space but be able to see each other to be comforted. Being able to move 2 cats at once in this carrier - you can move 4 cats at a time with 2 carriers instead of multiple trips of only 2 cats at a time. This PetMasion cat carrier is one of the best I have ever seen. There is ample room for 2 cats to be comfortable inside. You can load your cats in using the zippered openings on top, or on the side. The sturdy base and the high quality wheels will save your back. I am please with this item. Although I know it will not get used daily or even monthly, it is nice to know that we can transport 2 cats quickly and easily with this carrier. 5 Stars all the way around. I’ve had a couple dozen cats over my lifetime, and tried many different carriers as a result. I have a traditional hard shell one with a locking metal gate, and my cats hate it. Right when they see me pull it out, they run for the hills, as they know that they’re going to the vet or on a long car ride. One of my cats freaked out and clawed at the metal gate and bloodied his paw. Awful. This soft and spacious alternative is my go-to going forward. As you can see in my pic, my cat actually got excited to get into it and check it out. It is soft and cozy for them inside, and it’s quite spacious, which really helps make their incarceration less traumatic. It’s very versatile. You can carry it in your hand or use the shoulder strap. It’s see through as well, which I think helps the cat to get less freaked out when they can see their owner. There’s several zippers, which is awesome because you can unzip the top just enough to fit your hand in to pet your furry friends during their car ride. After I was done, I easily folded it back to flat for easy and efficient storage. I’m definitely ditching my outdated hard shell carrier and using this one for the foreseeable future.

I bought this because it has always been a hassle to take both the cats in for their annual shots in separate carriers. They're small and the cats hate them. This carrier is much nicer for them. they have more room and better visibility in this carrier. As cat owners already know, cats hate car rides. This seems to make the ride less scary when they're both in the same carrier. They have each other for emotional support and seem to be less vocal. The carrier itself is heavier than I expected, but it is definitely well made, which is what I attribute the weight to. In summary, this is a good carrier. It's a little on the heavy side but is easily supports 2 cats. It allows them to ride together which seems to help with their hatred of car rides. The carrier easily folds up for storage. I recommend this carrier for multi-cat homes. It makes quick trips to the vet very easy.

This is perfect for when we have to take our cats longer distances in the car. It fits 2 regular sized cats or a larger one if you wanted to give them space. It's very easy to fold up after and put away when you're done. I'd recommend and so far it seems to be off nice sturdy quality

I got this because it was an XL as getting the cats into the current carrier can be a hassle. While this is made really well and is very large, then top opening is the same size as the smaller carrier - which I was let down to see. So, aside from the extra space - this doesn't help at all when trying to get your cat inside the carrier. Aside from that, it is a quality item.

This may be my best amazon grab in a long time! I have two cats and two carriers but I've always worried how I would handle that if we ever had to evacuate or something. This carrier is big enough for both of them and it is really tough and sturdy! Once you pop the poles in place it's like having a wooden box or something. My one cat has adopted it as his house already, the other one somehow recognized it as a carrier as soon as it came out of the box and won't have anything to do with it. Nice thing is though you can open it from the side the front or the top so she may know it's a carrier but she's going to be surprised when I plop her in from the top! This is so much better than eith of the ones I had before. I highly reccomend it.

I needed a larger carrier because one of my cats is over 20 pounds. This carrier is very large, and so comfy that my cats love just laying in it. It folds flat for easy storage. There are pressure bars on the inside, making the inside incredibly sturdy. I didn't take off stars for it saying "Pet Masion" as I haven't determined if this is a typo or really on purpose as it is the company name, or if the company name is also typo'd. Every search for Masion comes up with no results and suggesting that I meant to say Mansion. Just something to keep in mind as I totally missed this when ordering. It is embroidered on the crate and that's the only thing I don't like, but it doesn't take away from what a great crate this is.
