    • Didn't work for me.
Initially I was expecting this to work verry well. Unfortunately m I find only 1 aspect where tis is failing for me. All other aspects of this work as the should but the middle part that connect th mount that grips to the handle of my cart and the upper portion that holds the umbrella. This portion does not make a secure enough fit so that when I hit an uneven portion m of train the entire assembly shifts and I have to grab the umbrella as its swaying side to side. This causes me to hold the umbrella steady the entire time. Its locked down as tight as can be on all connections. My cart is a brand new BagBoy. Good luck with your search. ... show more

Easy to install, very sturdy. The threaded fittings are metal, unlikely to strip out. The one that came with my cart had plastic female threads which easily stripped out, thus necessitating this purchase.

    • Great for a golf cart, even better for kids wagons!
I know that this item is originally designed for a golf cart and you can definitely tell, it is a beast! The build quality is heavy duty and everything wrenches down tight and is meant to stay that way. It has heavy knobs that won't break off when tightening it down hard. It has two screws to secure the umbrella in the holder so that it won't wobble out of place when moving. This is built like a tank! That being said, I do have one major gripe about the design. When you install it where you want it, the primary knob that determines the angle you want the umbrella to be situated is facing down and it cannot be placed facing up or the threads won't line up. This wouldn't normally be a huge deal, but it places your hand in a difficult place to really tighten it down between the pole you are attaching it to and the holder. It's also unsightly to have the screw threads poking up on top if you have the handle lower. It wouldn't have taken much of a design change to have it ambidextrous. That aside, I have used this as an umbrella holder for my children's wagon. It holds a golf umbrella perfectly under the greatest bumps, shoves, and exchanges. You cannot go wrong and this is definitely worth it if this is what you need! ... show more

    • Fits a square shaped rod or small round - Be sure to check diameter size.
Might work well but unfortunately the piece that fits on the cart is made for a square shaped rod. Check the diameter of your handle to make sure it will fit. I will be returning it because it doesn't fit the handle on my golf cart.

    • Screws too short to hold umbrella
I ordered this for my golf push cart. I’m only giving it two stars because the screws on the side that are there to hold the umbrella are too short. The company knew this because they sent two little caps that go on the ends of the screws to add more width to hold umbrella. My problem is these caps do not stay on when I fold my golf cart handle down for storage. They have fallen on the ground every time I put my cart away. All the company needs to do is provide longer screws to hold umbrella. I’ve had the holder more than 30 days and do not see a way to contact them. Other than the screws being too short it’s a sturdy holder. Im going to try adding something inside holder next time I golf. ... show more
