    • Cools rooms great, definitely not quiet.
This is a decent fan/humidifier combo, not really an AC unit. Even on the low and mid settings it works well to cool down a small to moderate sized room. It also doesn't seem to burn through water very quickly, only needing refilled once and able to run all night long in my office, so that is nice. I do have to ding it in the ratings because it was specifically marketed as a quiet unit for bedrooms, which is what I needed, and this is anything but quiet. My bedroom is on the second floor, facing the sun, and I sleep during the day (I work nights, does with the territory) and my room gets pretty toasty. With the recent heat waves, my main AC and a tower fan in my room just weren't cutting it anymore. I ordered this because it had a really nice sale going on, and the advertised features fit exactly what I was looking for. It showed up ahead of schedule, was packaged well and came with everything it was supposed to, all the things you want for a highly rated product. But you can imagine my disappointment when I turn it on and it is not just a little louder than expected, but truly loud. On its lowest setting it is roughly as loud as my tower fan's HIGHEST setting. I played around with the fan settings, rechecked the manual so see if there was anything I was missing, but no, it was set up right and in the "sleep mode" and still loud enough to be heard through a closed door on a different floor of my house. I wish I had a decibel meter to really test it, but either my unit is missing some internal noise reduction padding or we have very different definitions of quiet. Either way, sleeping with this running isn't happening without ear plugs, so I am banishing it to my office where the noise won't matter. Unless you are a really heavy sleeper, look elsewhere for a bedroom AC, but still works great for other rooms like an office or garage. ... show more

It’s a good looking unit that functions alright for the price, the air is only as cold as the water you put into this. This looks was better than other windowless cooling options. Noise is minimal, that size is a little under something I’d consider to be large this unit is a medium to almost large unit so not huge. I have no ac in the Arizona summer time heat at the time of writing this review and it makes a little difference in the room I’m in, but it’s az summer heat so I’m not expecting it to blow my socks off, I am comfortable though, the air this puts out is nice and cool I’d say. This is a win for anyone looking for a windowless unit that looks decent! ... show more

This thing is GREAT! Big water reserve so we don’t fill it up too much, and it cools off my home office perfectly. My office is notorious for being the hottest in the house. Now I can work comfortably. It has multiple speed settings, comes with a remote and a bonus of extra batteries which is a plus. It also had an awesome surprise of 4 reusable ice packs to put in the water for an extra boost. It’s sleek looking and works fantastic in smaller spaces.
