  • Well-Made Evaporative Cooler, but Understand What You're Buying
This is a very nice evaporative cooler. It appears well constructed, the materials feel good, and the included remote control works well. The water reservoir is easy to fill, and the unit is straightforward to operate. You can use it as a fan or fill the reservoir with water to take advantage of evaporative cooling. The instructions also suggest using colder water or the included ice packs for additional cooling, and I've tried it with ice water. There is one extremely important thing to understand before buying this, however: this is an evaporative cooler, not a conventional refrigerated air conditioner. Its cooling effect comes from evaporating water, and how well that works depends heavily on the humidity of the air. I live in Virginia, where summer humidity can be extremely high. Sometimes it practically feels like a steam room outside. Under those conditions, there is already so much moisture in the air that additional water doesn't evaporate nearly as readily, so an evaporative cooler simply cannot provide the same cooling effect it would in a hot, dry climate. In a dry environment, however, this type of cooler makes much more sense. Evaporation can substantially cool the moving air while also adding some welcome humidity. In a humid climate like mine, I think of this primarily as a very nice fan with some supplemental evaporative cooling rather than a replacement for an air conditioner. The oscillation provides good coverage, the remote is convenient, and the overall construction is quite good. It's a nice unit, but your climate matters tremendously. If you live somewhere hot and dry, this is exactly the environment where evaporative cooling can shine. If you live somewhere hot and humid, keep your expectations realistic because no evaporative cooler can overcome the basic physics of already moisture-saturated air. ... show more

  • There is a manual air director for up and down and inside it moves vanes, not the whole body.
Evaporative Cooler, Oscillating Fan for Bedroom, Tower fan for Office, 3 Speed, 4 Modes, White - 14 First impressions: Nice good sized fan with a water reservoir, pump, and a filter. The fan has a remote, and has 3 speeds. You can turn on the water or leave it off. There is a manually moveable air director for up and down and there is a remotely operated side to side where it moves vanes, not the whole body. The body is on wheels and is pretty light even when full of water. The remote has a battery inside it and you need to remove the plastic guard to make it work. Installation/setup: Fill the reservoir with water and use the remote or the buttons on the top of the body to select the functions you wish. Final thoughts: The fan works well, and it’s not very loud. It puts out a lot of air even on low and adds a lot of humidity. This type of cooler works well at lower temps but not so well when it’s over 100 degrees F. The reservoir needs to be kept full of water. You can hear the water trickling at times but most of the time it’s not very noticeable. The water soaks a filter that needs to be cleaned occasionally but it’s easy to access. I use filtered water in mine as we have hard water and I suggest you do the same, or use distilled water. I like this and I’m glad I got it. ⭐️1 star - I don't recommend it at all, poor quality. ⭐️⭐️ 2 stars - I don't recommend it, it has multiple faults, or a very high price. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars - It's passable, It has some faults but the quality is ok for what it is. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars - Product quite acceptable, it does what it promises. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars - Product that I totally recommend. ... show more

  • An Efficient Evaporative Tower Cooler for Superior Bedroom Climate Control
Extreme seasonal temperatures demand robust climate hardware when standard ceiling fixtures are entirely absent from a room. We selected this evaporative tower cooler to mitigate the uncomfortable heat in our fanless master bedroom. The sleek, vertical footprint presents a professional-grade aesthetic that tucks neatly into a corner. The physical chassis feels solid, housing a quiet internal motor and a generous water reservoir. The cooling mechanism actively transforms the atmosphere of the room during miserable, humid nights. The evaporative technology drops the ambient temperature significantly, projecting a steady stream of genuinely cold air across the bed. The oscillating feature distributes the relief evenly, completely eliminating stagnant hot zones in the morning. It operates with remarkable acoustic efficiency, running quietly enough to preserve a peaceful sleep cycle without disruptive mechanical droning. The physics of evaporative cooling dictate that you must routinely fill the internal tank with fresh water to maintain performance. The machine effectively acts as a standard fan once the reservoir runs dry, losing its profound temperature-dropping capabilities. The cooling pads require occasional inspection and gentle rinsing to prevent mineral buildup from hard tap water. Placing the unit near an open door or cracked window maximizes the cooling effect by encouraging proper airflow dynamics. The deployment of this climate appliance into a hot bedroom is an exceptionally savvy move. The massive temperature reduction and quiet operation deliver great value for the money. It permanently resolves the absolute misery of sleeping in a stagnant, overheated room. This is a top-tier product that delivers an elite level of utility. ... show more

  • Good Cooler for Hot Summer Days
I bought this evaporative cooler for my bedroom and it has been a great addition during the hot weather. It was very easy to set up and started working right out of the box. The airflow is smooth and the oscillation helps cool the whole room instead of just one spot. I really like the different modes because I can use sleep mode at night and it stays quiet enough that it does not disturb my rest. The large water tank is another big plus since I do not have to refill it very often. The remote control is convenient when I am already in bed and the timer works perfectly. I also appreciate the bladeless design because it feels much safer around kids and pets. It looks modern and does not take up much space in the room. However, the fan doesnt really throws the cool breeze. I dont know if its suppose to be like this or not as i have other fans in which you can actually see the mist coming. Overall this cooler has kept me much more comfortable and im happy with my purchase. I would definitely recommend it. ... show more

  • Excellent just as a tower fan. The evaporative function is a bonus
I got this evaporative cooling fan because the window air conditioner in my office is inconsistent, and I wanted to have something to take its place when it is only pretending to cool the room. SO far we have not needed the evaporative function at all. Just the fan portion has been effectively blowing cool air from the main portion of the home into my office. It is very quiet considering the amount of air it moves. The remote control works very well. The manufacturer supplied an additional two batteries for it, so it will be a long time before I need to buy replacement batteries. I had a circular fan in its place. Since it is in a short hallway leading into the office, that fan was always in the way. This one is less wide, so less restrictive for walking, but still moves plenty of air. When the humidity gets too low as it sometimes does, I will be using the evaporative function to add moisture into the air. It is well engineered and a good fit for my use. I like it a lot! ... show more

  • Great fan, very effective and quiet!
Highly recommend this fan!! Firstly it came well packaged, arrived with no damage at all. It’s compact in size but that doesn’t impact how effective this fan is. Love that it’s smaller in size as it’s easier to store. Love how sleek this fan looks. So many different settings to suit your needs, comes with the ice blocks if you wish to use that setting. Works really well, cools the room down fairly quickly. Very quiet, I have this on at night and it doesn’t keep me awake. The cord is fairly long which is great as I can move the fan around. The materials this fan is made from are durable and sturdy. Greta value for the money, I would definitely buy more of these. ... show more

  • Effective cooling in dry climates and a good everyday fan
This unit works very well as a compact tower fan and moves a surprising amount of air for its size. The oscillation helps circulate air around the room, and the different speed and mode settings make it easy to adjust for daytime use or sleeping. It has a clean, modern appearance that fits nicely in a bedroom or office without taking up much floor space. The evaporative cooling feature does make a noticeable difference, especially in a dry environment. If you live somewhere with low humidity, the cooler air is easy to feel and adds some comfort during hot weather. In more humid conditions it behaves more like a standard fan, which is typical of evaporative coolers and not really a fault of the product itself. Evaporative cooling systems are generally most effective in dry climates with good airflow. The build quality feels appropriate for the price, and the controls are straightforward to use. It performs its intended function well, whether you're using it as a fan or taking advantage of the cooling mode, and it has been reliable during regular use. Considering the features, compact size, multiple modes, and cooling capability, I think it offers good value compared to similar evaporative tower fans. ... show more

  • Pleasantly Surprised by How Well It Works
This arrived at the perfect time. We have a Cape Cod home, and during this week's extreme heat warning our upstairs stays noticeably warmer than the rest of the house, even with central air. I was hoping this would make a difference, and it definitely helped make my kids' rooms much more comfortable. It's important to know that this is not a traditional air conditioner. It isn't designed to cool an entire room down like a window or portable AC. Instead, you fill the tank with water and use the included ice packs or ice cubes to provide a cooler, more comfortable airflow. As long as your expectations match what it's designed to do, it works surprisingly well. It also functions as a regular fan with multiple speed and mode options, and I found it helped the room feel less stuffy and humid. The included remote is convenient, and the larger water tank means it doesn't need constant refilling. If you're looking for something to supplement your central air or provide extra comfort in rooms that run warmer than the rest of the house, this is a great option. It won't replace an actual air conditioner, but it absolutely helps bridge the gap and made a noticeable difference for us. ... show more
