Super easy to install. I did all of my own window tint in my home. I did most of my house last summer, but couldn't get to two windows without moving my TV, so I ordered this tint for my two windows. I did use the stock blade and squigey that came with it, but I used a new spray bottle with soapy water to put the tint on. A spray bottle that holds more is easier to use. I recommend having a second person help you, but I did it by myself. Clean windows thoroughly first. Then as you peel away the backing spray the tint with soapy water. Then spray the windows with soapy water. Pick a corner at the top of window to start. Use your hands to smooth it out as much as you can then start with the squigey to work the water and bubbles out. Then as you get closer to full window coverage trim to fit. I precut this to a little longer than I needed so I didn't have to fight with the roll. It blocks the Texas heat significantly. My AC bill has reduced quite a bit since installation. It looks good and the privacy during the day with the blinds open is amazing too. Just be patient during installation.

I purchased this window film for a sunroom, that is being transformed into a pet room. The film, along with a small window unit, has kept the room at eighty degrees or lower living in Florida, where this room normally is 90-100 degrees or so. I would add that instead of using the small squeegee that comes with the roll, I would purchase a larger squeeje & big spray bottle for larger windows. It makes the application so much easier.

I watched the video posted on this listing (a few times)... followed all the guidelines for more water than you think... it came out PERFECT. First, the differences worth looking for? This one comes with the sprayer (a little small), the squeegee, and the cutter. I'm moving and this is the first time I've done this, and I may have been able to locate these in my house... or I would have had to buy more stuff just to install non-permanent tint. Trust me, any extra time it is to look through listings that INCLUDE these items, worth every minute. The other MAJOR feature was the cut lines. Also trust me, worth it. This may not have been my favorite pattern of all time, but it came in the correct width I wanted, it has pattern and the iridescent AND it included everything in the package. It does NOT block out everything behind it. It's what I needed. I wanted to be able to see people moving within the garage, but not wack them in the face with the door if I couldn't see shadows moving through it. :)

Loved this!! Easy to apply and thicker like a cling not thin like car tint. Make sure you have window clean…if you have old old windows like we do may need to scrap old paint etc to prevent air bubbles. Delivery was spot on and well padded. I had more than plenty left over. I have become very skeptical of static cling films as mostly when I buy them they do not stay up .. This film does stay up and it comes with a tiny squeegee and a very, very tiny spray bottle, which I didn’t use because it’s too tiny and some other tool which I have no idea what I’m supposed to use that for and a little cutter box knife. I just use Windex and this went up great however I have a front door that I need to put the rest of this on and I’m gonna get a rotary paper cutter because you just can’t cut all those little tiny windows exact otherwise. The box cutter works great, but it’s hard to get them exact cut with those. I did order the black film and it’s like having sunglasses for your windows. I will probably want to take it down in the winter when we don’t get much light. But for now it’s better than having the curtains, pulled all the time and living in a cave.
