Maybe it has something to do with the batch or seller, but I didn't experience any of the issues reported by some other reviewers. PROS: * Didn't stick to my pan. They released well. * The color was actually visible on all liners after baking. They didn't turn sheer like some other brands. * Liners only had a faint smell of dye when I received the package. CONS: * Sometimes you have to empty the tube to get at the colors on the bottom, and putting them back in can be a pain. * Package popped open during shipment. Luckily none was crushed. * "Rainbow Bright" liners didn't contain RED (this is obvious by the pictures, but still... There rainbow is red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple. I make cupcakes for various occasions and I was looking for a particular color. This pack had that color and more so I took a chance. It has WAY more than I needed so I’ll have enough for probably a year lol. It’s nice to use fun colors instead of plain white all the time. Good quality overall and you are paying for the brand name.     • These are fine-- try them.
These baking cups do have a strong odor out of the package, as some reviewers have noted. However, I have found that the boldly colored/ patterned baking cups often do (not sure why). It goes away in the oven and doesn't affect the taste of the baked goods at all. Although these are highly pigmented papers, if you bake chocolate or brightly colored cupcakes in them, you can see the cake through the wrapper (which I was a little disappointed by).
