  • Epic Quality
Color: set A
The markers were great, they had ink that lasted for a while and also had an easy grip. Although it was disappointing that the markers weren’t as big as shown in the picture. Anyhow, the markers dried quickly and had a large variety of colors. It was really fun to use and could be great as a gift.

  • The very best
Color: set A
These are truly the very best markers that I have ever used. I tend to do a lot of manga art and these work amazingly well for that purpose, as well as for landscapes and basic colouring. I am impressed with how easily they blend together and how fine of an area you can work with using the super brush tips. I don't have that much experience using the other tip, as I tend to use the brush tip for most projects. None of the markers are dried out in the least and the ink goes down smooth and is quite vivid on the page. This set includes a colourless blender, also dual ended, and has a nice variety of colours, particularly the greens, blues and greys. There are also a good selection of flesh tones in this set. I love that you can replace the nibs on these pens and refill them so many times by buying the corresponding in refill, (between six and eight dollars usually.) These are so versatile and easy to use. The caps have little bumps to stop them from rolling off of your desk when you are using them and the barrel feels nice and solid in your hand when you are working with them. The packaging is great and they all arrived undamaged and nicely wrapped in shrink wrap. I can certainly see why they are a bit costly, but in my opinion, you get what you pay for and these were worth the expense. They also arrived quicker than what the shipping estimate said, so I was happy with that as well. If you are a professional artist, these will be a worth while addition to your art supply collection. ... show more

  • Top knotch markers...love them!
Color: set A
Absolutely love my ciao copics. I am not an artist by any means...and use them for my coloring books. I find they are wonderful as they don't leave any streaks on my pages. Only gripe I have about them is the price and sometime the tops are very hard to remove. Also the pinks I was hoping for in this group are not really pink, more of an apricot shade. I guesss I will have to look on YT and get knowledge on what pinks work best when shading and buy them open stock if I can. ... show more

  • Great markers for the Price!!!
Color: set A
This was my first time using the Copic Ciao markers and I was very pleased! I'm used to using the copic sketch markers (which I prefer), but as you may or may not know, they are about double the price of these markers. Therefore, I searched for a cheaper option and these came up. The same great ink and great blending for a cheaper price (due to the less ink and different shape I suppose). It came extremely well packaged and was brand new. I tested out all the colors for you guys to see as well! I'm loving the color options in this set, it has basically everything you need! I created this Rick and Morty fanart only using this set and it definitely did the job. The only thing I would complain about with these markers is that they are not easily organizable by color as the numbers are not on the lids like they are with the copic sketch^^ ... show more

  • Long Flexible Brush Tip and 1/4 Inch Inflexible Beveled Edge!
Color: set A
I purchased the "Copic Premium Artist Markers - 72 color Set A - Intermediate Level". Just so you know where I'm coming from, I am not a professional or even student artist. I just find I need markers for various things, and my daughter, who is an artist, told me Copic were the best. So I splurged on the 72 A and B sets. What I didn't know is that the Premium Artist Markers Intermediate Level have a long and very flexible brush tip on one end. and a thick ¼ " inflexible beveled edge on the other end. I just went and looked over all of the product description, etc., on the page where I bought the set, and a brush tip is no where mentioned. And the wide width of the other end is no where mentioned, either. I'm keeping the sets, but I can see why it is called "Intermediate". The brush tip works very much like a real brush and needs an extra level of skill to not squish the tip all over. And getting a thin line from the edge of the beveled end of the pen also takes some practice. On the plus side, what I was hoping Copic would give me, that cheap marker sets cannot, was genuinely LIGHT colors. They didn't fail me. The Cotton Pearl # E00 and Milky White # E51, for example, are nicely pale if you only swipe once, and only begin to darken if you swipe twice. AND, this set includes a marvelous Colorless Blender # 0, which really brings the color down to nearly invisible. If you use it on top of Cotton Pearl, you are left with the barest touch of tan. Use it on Pale Pink # RV10 and you have barely a blush. Alternately, the darkest colors are very dark, opaque and true-colored. As you'd expect from its name, you can use the Colorless Blender to fuzz up the edges where two colors meet. I've included some sample swipes done on plain copy paper. Monitors vary, but the colors come out true on my PC monitor. Lots of beautiful tones, a wide variety and quality ink that has almost no odor at all. The plastic case they arrive in is a little flimsy, but so far so good. EDITED TO ADD: I also purchased the brush tip set 72B (from this page). Different colors, of course, but comments are the same. 72B does NOT have a solid black (though it has a very dark gray) and it does not include a Colorless Blender. More recently, I purchased the 5-marker Skin Tone set (also from this page). These pens are brush-tip/beveled edge. There is some duplication with sets 72A and 72B: Cotton Pearl (E00) is also in the 72A set. Tea Rose (E93) and Barley Beige (E11) are in the 72B set. Pale fruit Pink (E000), Dark Suntan (E15) and Copper (E18) are not contained in either the 72A or 72B sets. Happy Reader ... show more
