I love the size of this rolling pin and it's so versatile. Now no more uneven pastry or fondant and really like that I won't have anymore rolling pin edge lines to have to go back over and smooth out. You can literally use this rolling pin on everything from cookies to fondant and breads of all kinds. Wish I'd bought one of these long rolling pins years ago and saved myself a lot of work! I highly recommend it to anyone. I do still use my small Wilton fondant rolling pin for rolling out small portions of fondant for little cutouts but if you have a bigger job this is the pin you need. It maybe large in size but it's not as heavy as my regular size marble rolling pin is so it's easier on your wrists to use. Did I tell you how much I love this thing? LOL Get it you won't be sorry it makes all of your holiday baking so much easier.

This is a pretty easy to use rolling pin. It is lightweight (good depending on your viewpoint) but still just feels like a round piece of plastic. Luckily it is cheap. We have a similar rolling pin that is made with aluminum but it is not an even diameter - this one is and solves that problem so I like this one better even though the other one looks nicer. I don’t find it too hard to use but again is just a glorified piece of plastic. What I really like are the guide rings. Those are invaluable and make this a good buy. Use those and you will have perfect fondant, cookie, etc thickness guaranteed. It works.

I purchased this roller for a first time fondant project. PRO: Its length and thickness rings made it fool proof to reach the desired thickness which I of course, was grateful for. CON: That being said, the roller is very light weight and I had to put a lot of pressure on the fondant to roll it out. My palms were sore and it was physically tiring! Thankfully, to fix this, in my initial rolls, I ended up using my marble rolling pin; the weight did the hard work for me and once I got my fondant thin and well spread into a consistent circle, I used the Wilton roller with measure bands to achieve the right thickness all around. I don't recommend using this roller alone with large projects. It might be fine for smaller ones, but even then, I used my marble roller for that as well. I feel like if the roller was thicker, like a traditional rolling pin, and at least had handles, it would be a solid product. Until then, it gets the job done...kind of.

I have had this rolling pin for five years now and I still love it as much as I did on day one. I make sugar cookies on a regular basis and this rolling pin paired with my rolling pin rings gives me perfect results every time. I love that I can roll across a large piece of roll dough or cookie dough without any part of it not getting reached. It is occasionally tough to get a group grip on the pin itself without any handles, but it feels so much more sturdy than other rolling pins with handles. When having to roll out stiff, refrigerated cookie dough, I have always worried that the flimsy handles on a wire bar going through the pin on a traditional rolling pin are going to just snap off, but I have no worries about that with this rolling pin. I haven't ever actually made fondant with this rolling pin, and I typically roll my cookie dough between parchment paper, but I usually don't have tons of issues with the dough sticking to the rolling pin. I throw this in the dishwasher after each use without any concerns although dishwashing it would never be very difficult. Overall, It is great!!!

I make my kids' (3 of them 5 years and under) cakes for their birthdays. They love having the fondant rolled out and put on because I make it out of marshmallows. I was having trouble rolling out the fondant with a wooden rolling pin due to it constantly sticking. I bought this for my latest cake, and it works great. It did not stick once. I was skeptical at first thinking to myself that it couldn't have been much better, but it was. I know it's 20 inches, but I just wish I had a slightly larger one to roll over my larger cakes that I make. I recommend this to anyone using fondant and rolling it without the proper equipment.

This fondant roller is decent as far as it goes. My main problem is that it came with scratches/knicks on it. It is by far totally smooth and it seems like with each wash, more of these little blemishes are appearing. Obviously you wash this by hand but even so I don’t see this item lasting too long and probably wouldn’t recommend it. I’m thinking either stainless or wood maybe if it’s super smooth. The measuring bands are definitely a bonus but they tend to slide off while rolling + you can only roll your circle so large with them on or you’ll get little tire tracks in your fondant. Price wise this one is great but for a few more bucks you can totally get something better.
