  • Ugh! Be prepared for the glue!
I bought 3 sets of these pans because I want to make a 6 tier cake. The labels and glue are atrocious and I'm not even sure if I'll be able to use these pans! The labels came off some of the pans for the most part, but the other pans have sticky glue that I cannot get off. Some of the glue is on the inside of the pans so I have no idea if I will be able to use them. You shouldn't have to work at scrubbing the pans before they are usable. I don't understand why they have to put so many labels inside and out. As far as I'm concerned, these are not worth the money. I do not recommend buying these. So frustrating! ... show more

  • Don’t buy: not dishwasher safe (!!)
Turned white and scaley in the dishwasher - useless. No warning to not put in dishwasher that I saw either!

  • They are okay
Pans are fine. One star off for putting stickers and glue on all surfaces - do I really need labels in the center, and on the side of each pan? Not necessary and annoying.

  • Save your money!
Way too cheap! Don't waste your money and just buy something nonstick. Worked fine enough in the oven but went to wash it and it just said "hand wash recommended"....which a lot of thing say and they are fine to wash, but not this one!! Completely destroyed it and it's all scaley and I would have to throw away. Also the sticker is difficult to remove and left a mark (though not that it mattered once the dishwasher destroyed anyway). Contacted Amazon and they are having me return them even though one was used, but thankfully I can get a refund. But hardly worth the hassle. ... show more

  • high quality smooth aluminum cake pans, a little tricky to get dry
No complaints about the quality of the cake pans, they do their job beautifully. i've tested them on a six-layer cake already, and their performance was admirable. Apart from not being able to put aluminum in the dishwasher, but wanting aluminum, and not being able to effectively stack the pans because the sides are actually as straight as advertised, my only complaint is that the lip is rolled so large that it holds a lot of water in the dish drainer, even if dried tipped up steeply on their sides. I don't see any advantage to the large roll - my previous baking pans haven't had this issue. The only way I have found to quickly dry the lip to put it away is to swing it really hard after it has dripped dry and send water flying out of the lip. Otherwise, great pans. ... show more

  • Very well made - a step up from others
I LOVE to bake! Over the years I have tried different brands of baking pans from grocery store types to more expensive ones. I particularly like the Wilton pans because of the quality of the product. It is a sturdy, well made pan and the interior has a smooth finish which makes for easier release of cakes (I still put parchment paper on the bottom). Because they are a heavier metal, they heat evenly thereby reducing any unwanted caramelization of the batter at the edges during baking. They clean up very easily with soap, water and a sponge and will probably be the last set of baking pans that you will ever need to buy. Finally, for the amateur baker: steer clear of DARK baking pans as they seem to absorb more heat and can render unreliable results.... that's why the Wilton™ baking pans are always a light-colored metal. ... show more

  • So Frustrated.
Pans are fine... IF you can get the glue off that holds the inserts in. Seriously - scrapped, washed, and the little glue bead that held the insert in the pan won't come off. Now I have 4 pans and have to figure out how to get (likely) toxic glue off of them before I can bake something without parchment paper. Who thought that adding glue that doesn't come off easily is a good idea on a product that touches food? ... show more

  • Light weight. Handle well.
These are light weight aluminum pans for baking. They are stamped aluminum, polished and light. Handle OK. I don't like it that they're sold with labels glued to the pans. You have to make sure to remove all the glue and silicone adhesive and wash them thoroughly before first use.
