Used for tent sauna. The round plate on top warped like a potato chip and now throwing water on the rocks quenches the flame. Chimney pipe rusted/burned up (?) where it connects to the fire box so it can’t draft anymore and smoke pours out around it. Bought in September, unusable since early December. Maybe 15-20 sauna sessions total. Here’s a photo of how I had it set up, and then just for fun I started a fire a couple months later after it deteriorated as I described and as you can see, it is unusable now. ... show more

I had this rocket stove heater for a while now. it is shocking how little wood you need to keep a space warm. Because of the way the combustion chamber is designed, it burns through small sticks and branches with intense heat. we placed some rocks on the tray so the heat could stay overnight. No electricity, no complex parts. it is super easy when assemblying, be aware to wear gloves because edges could cut your hands. you can heat your space with whatever downed branches you find in the yard. it is very sturdy and heavy, no need to worry it might tilt. you could adjust the vent flow by adjust the flipper on top. it is not taking much space in my tent, maybe a size of carry-on bag. definitely worth the money, good product. ... show more

I’ve been using this stove in a small wood cabin for both heating and cooking, and it has been working very well. It heats the space quickly, holds heat efficiently, and the top surface is great for cooking simple meals, boiling water, and making coffee. The size is ideal for a small cabin without taking up too much space. The build quality feels solid, the airflow is easy to control, and it burns dry firewood efficiently. With proper chimney setup, the draft is strong and smoke clears quickly, which makes it feel safe to use indoors. The photo shows that after only five firings of this stove, the reinforcing element of the upper wall detached. Without this element, the stove deforms when heated. In addition, the handle of the lower door came off during the very first firing. The seller claims a one-year warranty (which was the main factor in choosing this seller’s product), but technically I am unable to contact the seller regarding this warranty, as such an option is not предусмотрена by the interface. Overall a great purchase with excellent support from the company. I've emailed them twice for minor details and they've responded within reason (they're in china so they usually respond in the evening/night time) and have always resolved my issues, including sending me updated parts. The stove itself functions well for the purpose (I actually use it to heat a sauna tent). I can get my sauna tent to over 200 degrees F if needed. Holds standard length 16" or less wood. The door is on the smaller side, so you'll want to use wood that's split. There's a grate on the bottom with an ash pan that serves two purposes: collecting ash from the fire box, and allowing air in. There's a vent on the front of the ash pan that's adjustable to allow different amounts of fresh air into the firebox. Small amounts of rust after exposure to the elements but it brushed off and cleans up fine. The collapsable basket on the top to hold sauna rocks works fine, but it'll warp with the heat of the stove. Still works okay. Would have to be much thicker gauge metal to avoid that. The stove also glows red, including the chimney pipes if you let it get really hot. This doesn't detract from the function of the stove and it works great. There are rubber feet on the bottom of the collapsable legs. They don't fit well, but serve their purpose. Overall, happy with the purchase and happy with the company. It's extremely impressed with this outdoor stove. The build quality is outstanding, very sturdy and pretty thinck material, heats up fast, and airflow design makes the burn clean with minimal smoke. I used it outdoors and inside tent, it kept the space warm and cozy within minutes. It looks very nice. The side racks are super useful for drying items or heating small pans.
