I had a regular sling but didn't wear it bc it didn't feel like it was helping. This one feels so good. It gives so much support and I find it actually relieves much of the pain I am in. I love how it makes my broken parts feel held firmly together.

This sling here is easy to adjust while on the move, very comfortable to wear, and thin enough for good air circulation, in case you need it in a hot climate. This sling is sturdy and provides the needed support and stability needed. Unfortunately (like with any sling) I can't do what I need to do while wearing the sling. Thankfully the only part of my arm that needs to be immobile is my shoulder and upper arm. I've ordered a different sling that will allow movement of my lower arm, but I'll hold on to this one to wear as a reminder that I can't lift arm above shoulder or out to side. This was exactly what I expected. Sooooo much more comfy than the hospital sling. I can wear it comfortably for about 4 hours before my wrist splint starts digging into the side of the sling, then I need a break (gravity’s fault, not the sling’s). The strap around the back prevents it from sliding to and fro — I feel *very* strapped in place with this on. The only thing I don’t get is the thumb loop. It’s unneeded for me given my injury, so it’s not a problem, but it doesn’t attach in the same as in the video and I can’t see how I even would use it if I needed it. ... show more
